Video I put together showing how to deal with phantoms using each adept in the game. I may do more with the other classes if there's interest. Copying video description here so you can criticize my methods if you don't want to watch.

If you're using such heavy guns as Venom on adepts, you might as well use Striker. Staggers Phantoms greatly.
Wraith to the face each and every time solves your problems.
How to deal with Phantoms using *insert any class here*
1. Equip Venom.
2. Shoot
3. ???
4. Profit!
No Claymore / 10. Would not bang. Would BOOOOOM and then throw out the airlock.
... Jokes aside. Nice, I guess it touches a point that most people find difficult in this game, and should definitely help them against the biatches
However, let me offer some constructive criticism, uh? Hopefully it won't be ill received.
With most of the characters you showed, you used an acolyte or a Venom. Now... I don't have anything against these guns, but they do make phantoms pretty trivial by themselves already. There isn't much to do other than shoot in their general direction, and the tactics do not really change from on kit to the other. You actually seem to be only using hitscan guns on kits with stasis, which trivializes phantoms by itself.
What I'm trying to say is that most of the potential audience of this video already knows, I believe, how to handle phantoms with an acolyte/Venom or with stasis. So while it's certainly useful to watch a video like this for less experienced players, I'm guessing it would be even more helpful if you made a video on how to deal with them by using hitscan guns (and no stasis)Like, you know... I did very much appreciate the graal on the Shaman, tho!
True. The Fury is my personal favourite ito efficiency - one right order of presedence and phantom = dead<<snip>>
Nice vid and topic
But i quite agree with deerber here. Probably still usefull to some Bsner, and anyway very useful to lurker or newcomers or even further.
For your vid to be supra efficient though u should link each class to the corresponding serquence in the vid in your vid comments.
Asari Adept:Option 1 is stasis, headshot. This works very well, especially with a powerful weapon like the Wraith.
Might be worse mentionning u can OHK them with arc pistol and warp ammo IV

You're not wrong. What I should have also mentioned is that the weapons are what I normally use on those classes. Acolyte is really good for adepts, I don't think I use it on any other classes, so subsequent videos won't have it. I think I only used the Venom on the Drell Adept...is that overusing it? ![]()
Also, the overall goal is to help deal with phantoms in the easiest way possible, and to show multiple ways with as many classes as I can. Stasis->headshot is pretty easy, so I'd be silly not to show it. Also, I wanted to avoid saying "git gud and claymore headshot". ![]()

Very good idea. I will probably update this shortly.

Venom actually isn't too heavy. Plus it's damage output is much larger than the strikers. Plus it works out fine for the Drell adept since he has 1 power with cooldown (I skip pull and grenades don't use cooldown). I've used a lot of different weapons on him, Venom is what i've settled on enjoying the most.
One more solid gun is the Scorpion, I always bring it as a side arm for on host platinum when playing kits like the Tsol or HSol etc.
Yeah, I have a lot of kits in the game that carry a scorpion secondary specifically for phantoms. Not sure how that will look in a video, so maybe a hilarious scorpion montage will do...
Another fave on AA and Fury (and HSent): Acolyte w/ inc ammo and immediate Throw for the FE.
But in reality I just wish there was a mod with only Phantoms and Dragoons...and you get to play as Zombie Mountain, with just the one power/move:

Well, the first half of that request is quite easy, for the host anyway. Clients wouldn't see them on a lot of waves. But you could totally do a phantom and dragoon only Cerberus solo.
Welcome back 2012.
Welcome back 2012.
does that mean the world can finally end
This is how I wish I could deal with a phantom............
but at least I can get really close by using a batarian or a turian with a scimitar. ![]()
or better yet...this would satisfy my thirst for phantom blood.....
Krogan Shaman:
Option 1: Shoot-.warp,shoot,shockwave. You need to shoot first so she starts to dodge and won't bubble when you warp. When you shockwave, make sure you don't have her targeted or she'll bubble. You need to look to one side of her, and fire shockwave, and snap back.
Option 1: running heavy melee to stagger and drop shields, then another running heavy melee to kill and send the Phantom flying across the map.
Option 2: anything else.
