I'm firmly in the "I
the Mako" camp and am looking forward to careening off every pebble and bouncing like a madwoman along the peak of each mountain I find. Do you suppose there will be Thresher Maws in Andromeda...

The only way that there would be Thresher Maws in Andromeda is if Milky Way explorers from prior cycles went to Andromeda before we did.I'm firmly in the "I

Which is a bummer, because there was nothing quite like accidentally running into a Thresher nest. Even now when replaying ME1, I don't remember exactly where they are but I'll run into a clearing that looks vaguely familiar and get an "ohhhhh ****" feeling, lol.

To be fair, we don't know how quickly Thresher Maws mature. So the spores could be carried on our ships and when we get to Andromeda, they land on planets and soon Thresher Maws appear.

No it has runflats and no spare tire. Which is just a just a scam to boost the mileage rating.

I think you just found a really great explanation as to why the Khet might be pissed at us right off the bat.

In the trailer you see a Mako without weapons (to shoot stuff) and also no antennas stuff, a 360 degrees camera or something like that. Even some extra lights (for tunnels and stuff) are missing. It doesn't really feel like a exploration vehicle yet.

I don't think there is even air in those tires it's more some kind of bouncing rubber.

But can it walk on the moon?

I just hate to nitpick but uh i don't think armored vehicles like that one *points up* can "walk" at all on the moon

I think it's a step back after ME2 had a hovertank, but eh.
The Hammerhead, I feel, was a nice idea marred by poor execution. But really, the limitations of the tank also made it kind of stupid. This is a universe where vehicles that are literally shaped like bricks can hover around with a reasonable amount of maneuverability. Why are we stuck with a thing that can sort of fly, but also can't? Why does a hover tank need to hop across rocks in rivers of lava to get to the other side? At least a basic wheeled vehicle is more relatable as a "grounded" part of the universe. Of course, the argument can be made against having any kind of ground vehicle at all, but all things considered, I'd much rather have a good proper wheeled vehicle on decent maps to explore than a crappy jumping game piece on ludicrous rock platforms.

Hello Chaps, what do you expect from the new mako?
PS: Sorry if this post has already made before... eh.
I'm fine with it. If it can mountain climb fast and bounce around I'll like it.

Would be nice if the new Mako comes with transformer-like sound effects.
