If we had an Asari for a half sister *shudders*, wouldn't she be too young?
When i first saw trailer i think she is child.

The things the devs have said. It all points to your choice of gender determining if you have a sister or a brother, not whether you have a sibling or not.
Where does this theory come from?
I know it has been mentioned before - the thing about the dog tags, and that the N7 guy isn't the PC. But the photograph? I think I missed that one.
I hope it's a sibling; a twin. I also hope they're not actually an antagonist. Although, I'm open to the idea of an in-game suspicion that they might be.

I hope that they do the brother/sister dynamic correctly. They did a decent job with it in DA2, but Bethany/Carver still acted like strangers at times with Hawke, giving exposition. I really want to feel the comfort level rise in the way they talk to each other.
The animated logo for ME:A seems to imply division. The horizontal cross bars of the "A"'s book-ending Andromeda are moving apart to ominous tones. The "O" remains broken as the forming vertical lines hint of a katabasis/anabasis journey.

My first impression has been and remains that the siblings do struggle with each other and that the N7 is an older brother with a mean streak. However, while the N7 could be an antagonist and modeled along anti-villain lines he will not be the primary antagonist. As the story progresses events bring the siblings to a showdown with various resolutions based on player decisions and interactions.
Really looking forward to that first novel coming out.
Anyhow, I'm going to listen to a couple of songs which fuel and propel my imagination in this direction and share them with you.
I would love to play both and experience their own perspective. Dishonored 2 is going to do something like that (where you can play a male or a female character and each having their own story). Other games have done that in the past, so it is not unprecedented.
If not then I hope it isn't anything like in DA2, where I didn't feel any connection to Hawke's family.
That's another one I'm hyped about Dishonored 2 with the two seemingly protagonist going down different paths, this one and ME:A have me sleepless at times thinking about the plots ![]()
Has there been anyone official from the ME:A dev team mentioning a "Brother or Sister" in ME:A?? all I've seen is the mention of a "family" tie is all

You are right about ME:A. There is only speculation so far. ![]()

That division has been in the ME logo since day one, any image of it has it, think that someone thought it be cool to animate it a bit is all.

The implied division was in reference to the motions of the lettering in "ANDROMEDA" not the arc through "MASS EFFECT" which is another matter.
what makes people confident there'll be a sibling Ryder who plays a big role?
Because they are talking about a "Ryder-Family" -.- (Still not in favour of that...family stories IMHO belong in soap-operas and sitcoms (like "How I met your mother" *pukes*), not in science fiction video games (I've only seen one family arc pulled off well so far in science fiction: Star Wars the Anakin-Padme-Vader-Luke-Leia-Thing!))
I hope we can limit our contact if we want to (be the estranged son/daughter, while our sibling is the moma's-boy/girl)
greets LAX
The sibling better not be older and more experienced. I want to be the older brother. That sibling should either be a renegade madman or a psychopath.

I'm hoping Ryder is the younger sibling because I don't fancy being in the role of the older sibling since I worry it'll mean we have to be locked into a provider or responsible role. I prefer more roleplaying freedom and it could be interesting to be the younger sibling given that Hawke was the older sibling.
well.......we don't know anything about that yet.Not by the look of it.
hopefully more bad@$$ though. That's what I miss about Shepard and I don't want to lose it with Ryder is that strong bad@$$ leader warrior persona.I'm hoping Ryder is the younger sibling because I don't fancy being in the role of the older sibling since I worry it'll mean we have to be locked into a provider or responsible role. Too young for what? They are your family you sicko! If we had an Asari for a half sister *shudders*, wouldn't she be too young?
You got to be the oldest with Hawke. Nice for a change. The sibling better not be older and more experienced. I want to be the older brother.
I never played DA2 and I intend on doing it. And it's not mass effect. You got to be the oldest with Hawke. Nice for a change.

Well.......if it's free on gold. I only played DAI. I've seen trailers and gameplay. So far I've been mixed reviews. But I'm a mass effect guy to the end.I hope you enjoy it
