I don't have source but i heard somewhere bioware say it will be like DA:I both and I think in trailer Krogan drop it's our protagonist. Bioware just show female protagonist first. I don't care what they show I just want they make me default male Ryder as good as Shepard because I suck at making character.

Since I didn't play femshep, I think this will be interesting...I might just play it even if turns out not to be default. 

 

I just hope they do those origin combos like the other games (Earthborn/colonist/SS/etc). It was simple, but very flexible. I'll take a fleshed out origin too, but barring that, at least the way they did Shepard is better than DAI.

You don't really need a "face" for a game that allows you to customize your character's appearance and personality. They could very well go the way of DA:I and just put a nondescript person, of indeterminate gender, in a full set of armor on the cover.

DAI isn't great either. They actually had a default face for that once too.. he looked better than anything I can make at least. It's too bad they took it out. Not everyone wants to spend their nights shaping noses and measuring eye spaces...especially with crappy tools. And I won't even mention the bad hair

I forgot what Sarkeesian looked like exactly. But Femryder just reminds me of Sera a little (albeit, different hair). I can see the same engine at work.

 

But I'm sure it'll be tweaked.

Please, Bioware, give us EVEN MORE bald options: with sideburns,  no sideburns, with no hair in the middle, with no hair in the front, very short, even shorter than the average short... The rest of hair styles doesn't matter: just don't forget my twenty bald options for either man or woman

I wouldn't exactly say John Shepard was adonis either although some might disagree.

 

I'm personally hoping there is no default face this time around and we will get different looking Ryders in trailers to see what CC is capable of.

DAI did have multiple presets though, but maybe Bioware could have tweaked them bit more so they'd be nice to use on their own too.

It was in one of the recent interviews (can not find the link   ). They did mention the balance (ME was all about broShep) but said this time they will try to use DAI approach not revealing protagonist gender on boxes and posters.

So, i saw on the facebook groups a lot of woman, (and cucks) are saying the FemRyder will be the default version of Ryder and "the face of andromeda" and will be in all of the trailers, pics, arts just like shepard was in the past trilogy. And i saw in a website that bioware said the trailers of this game will have both genders, just like dragon age inquisition did. My question is, is there any source that confirms FemRyder will be the face of the next game or those people are just saying that just because bioware showed the female version of Ryder first than the male version?

I'm sure the age limit for these games is 17+. I can't remember being this insecure and juvenile when I was that age, but I could be mistaken.

Does it matter, people ask? Well, yes it does.

 

(1) If they make the story with a default female protagonist in mind, that will be noticeable, just as it is very noticeable that Shepard or the Inquisitor were mainly thought of as male, regardless of possible customization. If you doubt that for DAI, just look at the animations in some scenes.

 

(2) If it's just a case of making the CC default preselect female, that will test the hypothesis "many players only choose male because it's the default", and if she has a special face like default Shepard that will also test the hypothesis "many players choose the default face because its technically better-realized" (though I don't agree that defaultShep looked better than any others)

I like what we've seen of Ryder so far. I'll customize her as I don't play defaults but the default, if that's what she is, looks great.
