Ok so I know most people are more worried about head hair but I care about face hair!  There are two kinds of people without beards women and children.  My male Ryder is neither!  Please let us have more than crappy stubble/  But not the strange hair that just floats aver our faces in Dragon age.  PLEASE BIOWARE!

I wanna give my male Ryder a beard that's so long he can trip up his enemies, or wrangle them with it. And maybe even shelter small alien species in it, like an alien species that requires a hairy habitat, but their hairy habitat is dying, so when the hairy human with the really long beard comes along, they take advantage. And then it turns into a whole new storyline where these tiny aliens are trying to take over the male humans' faces and so on. So basically, facial hair that has an impact on the story! Aaaand I'm getting a head of hair- I mean I'm getting ahead of myself again.

I'm not a fan of facial hair on guys, but BioWare needs to step up their hair game across the board.

But on a more serious note, I do hope that Bioware provides a nice range of beards for people who like them, even if I'd personally rather never play a male character than making one with a beard.

I vote they have a random chance that whenever you have to close your helmet the beard gets stuck and you lose 50% of your health to asphyxiation before you can get your helmet closed.

Operator/Tactical beard, please...

 

It is said that in a true Operator Beard, you can store food rations, extra ammunition, grenades, and depending on how hardcore you're willing to go, even spare assault rifles.

 

You should also never bring a moustache to a beard fight.

 

The ancient Vikings supposedly had a name for people without beards. It translates as "women." (*insert EDI pic here*)

 

Needless to say every badass man should have an Operator Beard. (But you shave them when WMDs are reported and you have to break out the MOPP. Though since you folks convinced me a few weeks back about longer hair since our helmets are self-sealers, I suppose we could have beards in Mass Effect.)

I think the OP makes a strong argument that BW beards are worse than BW hair.  At least the hair looks like it grows from the scalp,  beards just look like cheap props.

Signed! Give us 3d beards or at least thicker beards. An actual goatee rather than stubble hair that's barely noticeable. ME3 suffered with this problem while ME2 had some decent textures.
