I do have a question though...How successfully do you use this off host?
you should specify that this build is most ideal on host. Off host, bad lag can make for some ugly rubber banding which can make it almost impossible to play!
For those newbies out there: Please don't play the Turian Cabal with this build if you are not the host. Everything RYGELthe16th says will only work out for you if you are the hosting player.
Yes, you should totally host. With a really really good host, I've managed some competent play with this style, but nothing anywhere near as aggressive as in the video guide.
I added a blurb about hosting to the video description.
I love this build too op, or more exactly a close build. But yeah, theres a mother thread about it or even 2.
DOuble dash cabal is WMD or smtg like that:

Wow, fantastic stuff! I wish I had found this a long time ago. Thanks for the link.
Yet, weapons build + Nightshade Blade spam is much more effective than melee.
If effectiveness is all anyone cared about, we'd all just play Kroguards with reegars against geth.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Cabal melee and I do switch it up, the problem is that everything is so buggy in this game, that melee becomes frustrating as you get elbowed in the face or double tapped or sync-killed even after perfectly timed moves. Her dodge is glitchy and she often will dodge in the same place, thus making sure you're going to get beaten, staggered and downed/synced .
Funny, I had chapter of the video addressing this, but I cut it halfway through.
Yes, the movements can be glitchy. I've had luck on smooth, level ground. Standing on a slightly uneven patch seems more likely to stop your dodge. Some maps, especially London, are worse than others.
If your melee is failing to lock on, try to aim at targets that are in cover or fixed in position due to animation. If they're moving and melee fails, shoot them once and try again. There's still some rage-worthy moments, but I still manage to love the class.
