Well, assuming the Ark has time to spark a community at all? Is everyone in stasis or what?
Or is there a community after we awaken? Then I think it's natural that if it starts going downhill. ![]()

Hopefully with funny music in the background.
Seriously though, if not the Ark, I could use something like Omega.. I kind of mentioned that in the "urban areas" thread. I hope the cities aren't so bizarre and alien that I'd never see anything like that. Like giant mushrooms and insects, from something out of Morrowind. That stuff is cool, but I just hope there's typical cities too.. and all that entails, including criminal elements.
I'm interested to see what elements they borrow from DA:I. I freaking loved that game! I would like to see some of the elements they introduced there, such as sending your companions out on quests, expanded upon in ME:A. I want to send my squadmates on actual missions, whose success or failure depend on their stats, equipment, loyalty, dedication, and the difficulty of the mission itself. I want conquered or established outposts to reward me with resources over time.
I don't know if any of that has been confirmed though. Mostly, I'm hoping it has the feel of the original Mass Effect trilogy.

Sigh.
And here I was just liking your recent posts.
j/k
Sadly there's nothing I could get excited about, not yet anyway. There's too little info for that. There are a couple things that I find worrisome but they mostly come from the leaks.

Straykat took the thunder out of my mouth.
They didn't give me enough crap to be excited for.
While I'm not "most excited" about this in itself. It does appear that BioWare listened to fans (something to be most excited about) as that collar flap that was being discussed a few months back seems be gone from the N7.

Welcome to the club.
New trailers might contradict but I am convinced that Bio meticulously goes over what to put in a trailer before release to:
1. reveal bits of actual game info
2. mostly hide game info
3. hint at game features
4. provide "food" for the BSN
Emphasys on the last topic. Us poor, starving-for-news fans remain loyal, posting here even through these trying times.
And they know it! The devs know it. those sadistic bastards enjoy seeing us suffer. lol
The new ship, the new mako, and the new armor/weapons/gear in general. Special mention to current gen-only Frostbite engine goodies.
The same thing I'm always excited for when it comes to bioware: the characters and their development
Sigh.

Haha, sorry to disappoint!
Nothing so far....I'm a story gal so without any information about that or the combat I don't really care.

That's not necessarily a good thing that they 'listened' to us.
Alright wtf happened to the collar flap? Uh now the armor's ruined.
Krogan...krogan quads.

BioWare does need to take care on what suggestions to take seriously.
It's probable suggestions are weighted according to various factors before taking them into consideration. Sometimes suggestions are simple mockery of the IP and the product of shallow self-gratifying thought; a waste of time to consider or engage upon. Others are more informed and take into account a spectrum of considerations. It's not a simple matter to tell the difference. Motives can be revealing.
To be fair, Gavin Hossle did this very thing on Feros.
But somehow that turned out to be more entertaining.
Well to get Gavin's data I had to slog my way through a shed-load of Geth, and find my way into a room, filled with horrid charging Krogan.. which in retrospect was quite entertaining, if only to witness first hand exactly how weak Tali's will for self preservation really was.

This sounds a bit like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood where you could send other assassins on missions. Actually, I didn't like this approach in DA:I, but I preferred the one from AC.
Probably all the new races and the new lore we will be getting and we get to find out how things are in another galaxy. The exploration and colonization aspects of it means there is a lot they can do with it both in terms of gameplay and story. I like how we can potentially be perceived as being invaders it can make the story and the choices a lot more grey and not as black and white. I also like the fact that Ryder is going to be green and will have to prove themselves.
No reapers.
Most excited for multiplayer not tied in too deep to the singleplayer.
