Yes.  Ryder comes out of stasis on the Ark says "We made it" or whatever, then notices everyone is looking out the window.  When Ryder gets to the window s/he sees that the Ark is surrounded by Reapers.  Then Shep calls and says "I got bored a hundred years after you guys left, so I sent some Reapers to go find you."

Lord no, just no, let the dead hero(?) rest in peace and leave the sweet memory of "good ole days" of ME 1, 2, 3 stay just that a memory, good, bad or otherwise.

 

Don't know about anyone else but I'm eager to start a whole new adventure in the Mass Effect franchise but don't want a rehash of the other 3's story line, that one is dead and gone.

But what if the reaper built Shepard an artificial body. There's no reason for him to stay dead!

Yeah, control was my favorite ending. I would like to see Shepard making a cameo as the Reaper Executor, helping out our protagonist in a huge battle.

It's an expedition, not an army. ME3 style battles are pretty much out of the question.

That would be excellent. Have Harbinger leading the group of reapers. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL. Outstanding. 10 minutes later, the credits are shown after the reapers destroy the ships. hahaha
