So I have found out that Last Court text-based game appears as a side quest on war table of Inquisition with some rewards if you finish the Last Court. I try to play the game but it is really boring and that limited action for a day (kind of facebook games) really sucks. I have looked many websites on the internet to find out a guide or easy way to beat the Last Court but it seems there is no such thing on the internet. Did any of you finish the Last Court? If so how?

I actually thought it was fun -- it was released about a week before Inquisition came out, which is about how long it takes to compete the game without using the micro-transcations, so it was a nice way to pass the time during that excruciatingly painful week. So yeah, I finished it by....finishing it. It should take about a week assuming you play every day. That said, if you don't find yourself enjoying it, don't play it. There's just one war table mission with no relevance to the overall plot and the reward item is so negligible I don't even remember.

You get the best looking glass in the game if you finish it... but other than that and the WT mission, it doesn't add much.

I thought the Cult of Masked Andraste was interesting, as was the Horned Knight and his group of dryads and fauns. You increase certain skills and attributed the more you play, even if you fail - I was the Scholar and I did well. Admittedly, it can get repetitive at times, but I found it more entertaining than a lot of things in Inquisition.

Well I know that Last Court adds some cosmetic items and besides that nothing much. Yet it is not the story I don't like but the gameplay of the Last Court. But I really want to get the quest for war table that is why I am asking.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the glass -- it is really nice. Still, if one really hates the Last Court, it's purely cosmetic so not really worth sitting through imo.

I think if the TC just pops in on it for a few minutes here and there, then it could be gotten through without noticing the design issues. I got through it during breaks at work over a week or so.

I have a couple of guides for you...
How to easily beat "The Last Court"
The Last Court - Sealed Chantry Mini-Guide (Spoiler-free)
I haven't actually used these myself. I'm just waiting for the day I finally have the ambition to finish the damn thing.

I restarted it once because I realized I wasn't doing well with it. You can use the Wiki to cheat if you like as every card action is available on it. I hear you only need three of each (Secrets, Viands, and Trophies) to win but always go for more anyway as you can potentially lose some. I went for 15+ of each and got the best ending.
My advice is to go on hunts as soon as you can and invest in Rulership and Cunning. Hunts can easily earn you Trophies and Viands and each hunt will get much easier as your skill level rises. Secrets can be more easily obtained through Market Day cards but buy a few more Secrets with royals when you can just in case.

I have tried to use the first guide you said but apperantly, I don't get the cards guide says. Maybe an update or something changed them. I don't know. I always get the same cards. But I will check out the second one.

It was fun, though there were too few event cards. I think the Wayward Bard foiled exactly 1,294 assassination attempts during my run.

Two, technically.

That simply gives us more reason to save him from the Horned Knight and repay the favor. ![]()

Ah Last Court...
The web game with the better story than the actual game.
Is this true?
I was attracted to it because it looked like Sunless Sea, but I got bored early on plus the microtransactions drove me away. I only remember the pig farmer. Does it get good?

Well, not in execution obviously. But yeah, I do think the basic story behind it is better. I like the intrigue of the various quests, the main goal (erasing the Shame), the politics, the weekly concerns of running the town. I was expecting similar things in the main game. It's called "Inquisition", after all. A high quality game like this would be something I'd really sink my teeth into.
