I believe the elven gods were inspired by the Ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses, after all Arlathan is similar to Ancient Egypt.

*Elgar'nan- All father, god of Fatherhood & Vengeance= Ra- The Egyptian Sun God involved in creation & the Afterlife. Father of the Egyptian Gods. Petbe- Egyptian God of Vengeance. Amun- King of the Gods. (Wikipedia: Egyptian deities)

*Mythal- The Protector. Goddess of motherhood and justice. Ma'at- Goddess of truth, justice, and order. Hathor- Egyptian Goddess of motherhood, joy, love, dance, and the sky.

*Falon'Din= God of Death and Fortune.
Anubis- God of the embalming and Protector of the Dead.
Renenet- Egyptian Goddess of good luck and fortune.

*Dirthamen= God of Secrets and Knowledge.
Thoth- Egyptian God of the Moon and Writing (inventor of math, writing, architecture, etc)
Serapis- God of Knowledge and Education.

*Andruil= Goddess of the Hunt= Neith- Egyptian Goddess of War and the Hunt.

*Sylaise= Hearthkeeper goddess= Bashtet- Egyptian Goddess of Home.

*June=God of Crafts= Ptah- Egyptian God of craftsmanship and creation

*Ghilin'nain= Halla Goddess= Sobek- Egyptian God of Crocodiles.

*Fen'Harel= Trickster God
Set- Egyptian God of Chaos, War, and Storms. And a Trickster God.

So the entire thrust of your argument is "The elves had gods for things that the Egyptians also had gods for?"

I wore an antler head band for a Christmas party once. I guess now I'm Ghilan'Nain. Well time to start performing horrific experiments on people.

It does match the aspects of the elven gods along with an advance civilization that pretty much similar to Egypt.

Yeah, these are pretty common themes so it's not hard to find gods that have them, especially if your just going to just combine multiple gods into one every time they don't match.

The elven gods are simply different aspects of the Egyptian gods thus the Ancient advanced civilization of the ancient world.

Not sure if they were based on the Egyptian "gods" back in Origins, but it does seem like some of them have some of the same characteristics now in the Inquisition era.

The more notable addition is that the evanuris had slaves that built great temples in their honor and such. The Pharaohs had slaves. So still, kind of similar but not really the same.

You could probably draw similarities between the evanuris and anything. Falon'Din and Dirthamen were twins, so are they based on Gemini? Fen'Harel is a trickster, so is he based on Loki?

It's closer to Greek mythology. The gods warred with the Titans and defeated them, taking the world for their own. Or even Norse mythology, because the gods warred with the giants and competed against another pantheon (Aesir vs Vanir), and are constantly fighting with a trickster deity.

But Loki is malevolent with his trickery and the Egyptian god Set makes sense, because Egypt was older than Norse Mythology, and Egypt is far more advanced than them. Which it correlates with Arlathan is the most advanced civilization of Thedas with the Evanuris. And the slaves in Egypt were POWs were they've fought with neighboring countries like Nubia and upper Egypt and stuff, but they were treated like human beings and never dehumanize them.
