Focusing the Andromeda aliens attention on Humanity as a player-centred experience utilising humor and narrative for the pro-alien crowd in LI. As a now intergalactic group the Council races appear as advanced as Reapers, however if the Humans take on the characteristics of a hub race much like the Asari there can be a focused player storyline with advances and rejections without the player feeling hurt. Instead of risking any alienation from the player making an advance and facing rejection it could take on a more welcome 'more choice' feel.

Thought?

I don't think they could ever live up to it. The defining "trait" was their lifespan.. it kind of shaped their whole perspective. The Asari "long view" on things. I still prefer humans who are more impatient/irascible/ambitious/what have you.

Human: Let me guess, you find us interesting and exotic?

Rommie: Of course, we've never seen anything like you before!

Human: And you want to see us dancing half-naked in your strip clubs?

Rommie: What? No! Honestly, what kind of self-respecting species would ever stoop to being the object of such excessive titillation?

Asari: *Nervously coughs*

(I'm not judging the Asari for wanting to get up on tables and dance, but is really the only fun thing to do if you're enjoying a gap year that lasts centuries?)

If you mean that the Asaru look like human males with bushy eyebrows and dumb luck.

Then yes.

The Asaru have already ruined Mass Effect Andromeda.

Read my sig.

Remember the lost.

Never forget.

this reminded me Tali's comment in Choras Den. It's something like "Dancers are high respected amoung my people, but i think this women got no respect at all"

Edit: oh yeah, Tali is a sexy suave dancer, we see that in the Citadel's party :)

Nope.  Humans are the new quarians.

Wandering vagabonds in their centuries-old ships looking for a home.

How dare you compare the supreme race of the Milky Way to the aliens who happens to look like female humans but relies upon alien species for reproduction?

That's the very definition of all milkywayers too  :D

And the Quarians will be like "I was  Quarian BEFORE it was mainstream"  <_<  B)

You mean useless hypocrites who get an advantage out of a Prothean teat to defeat the Reapers, then get everyone killed because they're more concerned with hiding and squandering it in a futile, pathetic attempt at maintaining faux superiority?

Possibly, the plot seems to revolve around appropriating Remnant tech and using it to gain advantage over the Khet, rather than actual innovation.

That's the very definition of all milkywayers too  :D

And the Quarians will be like "I was  Quarian BEFORE it was mainstream"  <_<  B)

We'll still get no respect and probably blame for stealing the idea even tho we came up with it 900 years ago.

I've read and re-read your paragraph a few times but I don't think I understand what you're trying to say.

Are you saying that Humanity will appear to the aliens of Andromeda as the Asari originally appeared to the aliens (and humans) of the Milky Way? Which is to say, the most advanced species in terms of technology and culture?

I mean, I guess that could happen. If there are only a representative handful of the other species that come with us weighed against a large group of humans, the aliens of Andromeda might think Humans were the dominant species. I don't know how that will effect the story at all.

I may have misinterpreted you though.

Look at those hip gyrations, not even a boyband can pull them off that intense.

Hell, not even a Quarian girlband, with their very prominent hips, could pull it off as well as that Krogan.

That's why most young Krogan take the Thresher Maw test as their Rite of Passage, as the Pole-Dancing test is far more dangerous.

You can count on one quad the amount of Krogan to finish it and survive.
