Cats' eyes glow in the dark, and that doesn't stop them from being able to see. A lot of animals' eyes glow
They don't glow. They reflect the light. Like a mirror. Mirrors don't glow. Normally. Lightsabers and omnitools do.
(Hate to be the one bringing the bad news, but the moon does not shine either.)
As for the neon and glowing objects - just keep the combat effects in check (biotics especially). Don't make the DAI mistake, those rogue&warrior skills were all too flashy and most of them made very little sense.

I like aesthetic, just in context, can you imagine a Apex predator dressed like a peacock?
"hey prey here i am and i'm fabulous", "yeah we know we seen you coming".
I'm not saying don't have peacocks in the game.
Speaking of apex predators, DINOSAURS!
Breaking news, well from several years ago but....ahem.... Breaking news: Some Dinosaurs had feathers! Chickens are descendants!
It's entirely possible that a peacock/dinosaur like thing wandered around showing off his feathers to the ladies.
I've been making a lot of dinosaur posts lately, lol!

Now I wish we could have seen that scene in the romance.
