I get that you can get the best gear from black emorium, yes? but what is more bang per buck - buying unique weapons straight from the shop or building your own with the schematics? im lvl 15 right now, so if not for getting schematics and building towards it, i think im saving till later level uniquess (18+) and then buy everything i need. Until then pretty much all my money goes towards Influence! Gotta say you have to invest some serious cash in that cow!

You could bypass the problem and download a save file which has all schematics, load that file and use the golden nug to sync all schematics across all saves.

 

I did it because I was missing ONE schematic and it was frustrating me trying to find it as a random drop in a chest. I couldn't find it across several playthroughs.

No. Crafting surpasses anything you can buy, loot, steal or get as a reward. By a lot. Not even close.

Of course, you have to have the schematics and mats to maximize crafting, and that's hard on a first PT, unless you cheat one way or the other.

If you want to spend money in the BE, spend it on schematics and crafting materials. And Accessories, you can't craft those.
