What the hell?
My suspicion is that it is because the first non-passive skill I unlocked was an archery related one. I did so because I thought a Dalish hunter should know something about wielding a bow.
Regardless, is it always gonna be like this no matter how many skill points I put into warrior talents?
My warrior always pulls out a bow during cutscenes.

Either it is a bug or you set your warrior AI to range and he/she just shooting someone before cutscene
