I'm redoing Orzammar quests and reading about Deem Roads and the Thaigs and about the First Blight. I read a lot about the Tevinter Imperium and how the darkspawn came to be.

But how long did that happen? When did the archons of the Tevinter Imperion invade the Golden City and were tainted? And how long after it that the First Blight happened?

It's really intriguing that archdemons are Tevinter Imperion's gods. I suppose the darkspawn found ways to taint their gods and turn them into archdemons. And imagine that now one of these gods is the Warden's and Morrigan's child. OMG I wanna play DAI and DA4!!!

The latest events in the timeline (DAI: Trespasser) took place in 9:44 Dragon. The magisters entering the fade and the beginning of the blight happened in -395 Ancient, that means 1339 years ago.

 

Also, don't get too hyped for the Old God Baby. It is rather disappointing how they've handled it in DAI.

Well majority of players don't care about it anyway as they don't  have it.

Bioware never released any telemetry data for the Dark Ritual, so you wouldn't have the slightest clue about what the majority cares or doesn't care about.
