I find the Wraith....wanting.  My Crusader V thrashes my Wraith VI.

 

I hereby pronounce Wraith users as peasants.

I can use the Crusader just fine.  Everything laughs at the peasant blunderbuss (wraith).

 

I'll just stick with my precision tool of superiority thanks.

While I do posess a gaming PC it does not have ME 3 on it. 360 version I'm afraid.

I'm not going through all that RNG nonsense from scratch again.

Though I often hanker for M&K often.  One button to rule them all is annoying (A).

I'm using the Crusader on my Male Quarian Infiltrator. Cloak-Arc Grenade-Shoot...surprisingly effective.

I won't say that it's my favorite gun, but I do like that combo

Although Crusader has perfect accuracy, the recoil in aiming mode severely handicaps your firing rate (and dps).

 

A better way of using it is to engage in mid-close range and hip fire all the way.

So which are the preferred mods for the Crusader?  I switched out the Wraith on my Drell adept and gave it a go.  I think I used smart choke and HCB.  It was pretty great at range but just wanted to make sure I had the right attachments.

Piercing and damage mods. Crusader is already perfectly accurate and doesn't need smart choke.

Ignoring all the Wraith-loving scrubbery in this thread, and to add a little to Loufi's post, one of the things I find most underrated about the Crusader is the fact that it is without any shadow of doubt the best (as in most versatile and fun) melee weapon in the game. I know the Venom can trash things faster and the Claymore has more swagger, but the Crusader has innate piercing and doesn't need the Smartchoke, so the Omniblade has a free slot just waiting for it. Kill-helping teammates across the map is just the icing on the cake.

 

It looks good. It sounds good. It does a ton of damage. If it didn't have the noodle-baking time-travel fire mechanism it would be so far beyond OP as to trivialize the game. I'm actually glad to be a console scrub as I like it fine the way it is - my most-used gun of any type in the game, by some distance. If you're reading this with a skeptical head on, slap it on a melee-specced AIU and thank me later.     

 

Yeah, I was going to post this exact same thing.  When I play melee Juggernaut, I always use the Crusader.  Sometimes, there's no enemies around to melee and I don't really want to leave the LZ, so the Crusader lets me do something while I'm waiting for the enemies to make it over to me.

 

Kidding on the second part, not on the first.  It is my favorite gun to use on melee Krogan, especially against Reapers or Collectors.

I also like the Crusader on the Salarian Infiltrator.  It synchronizes great with Energy Drain.  The stagger that ED provides is great for hitting enemies with your time-travel bullets, and the shield stripping can turn the Crusader into a OSK weapon against some enemies.  The Turian Sentinel provides a similar type of play style (with a shield stripper/stagger power and a debuffer), but I like the SI better.

That file fixes the 0.2 second hit delay on the Crusader.

Crusader is a fine gun. Crusader Huntress is almost as effective as Talon huntress. Specially on host. But I keep going back to Claymore huntress because you know "LORE".

Tried it on a Volus Engie. Very unreliable. One second it kills a Cannibal across the map, then misses another Cannibal at point blank and suddenly kills the third Cannibal that minded its own business in the background, and then

You can actually max a PC manifest in less than an hour,if that's what you're worried about.

Idk man,I like the delay on the Wraith,It gives adequate time to line up perfect headshots without wasting ammo.Just my opinion though.
