So I guess the Crusader really is a no-scope sniper rifle

Idk man,I like the delay on the Wraith,It gives adequate time to line up perfect headshots without wasting ammo.Just my opinion though.

What? You mean reload fire delay? No, I meant that 0.2 second Crusader delay exists on all other shotguns that function as a shotguns. It's only more noticeable on Crusader because of it's pinpoint accuracy = much easier to miss with delay. But slap a Claymore on a GI and it becomes more pinpoint accurate too. Then add in off host lag, and why did someone at BioWare think it was a great idea to add firing delay to all shotguns?

I'd do it myself, but I don't know what program decompresses PCC Files.

The other hitscan shotguns do have a delay, but I didn't think it was 0.2 seconds.  IIRC, the delay for the other shotguns is much shorter and almost not noticeable, and the fact that the Crusader has a single projectile somehow affects the calculations and throws its fire delay out of whack.

Or maybe I'm going crazy.

I just remember reading what one of the devs said on the Crusader delay and shotguns in general. Why, what's the exact delay of say the Claymore?

Someone should create and upload that no delay fix for other shotguns like Claymore and Wraith too.

It's a mixin now I think, just check the box when making a mod on modmaker

^ Yes, I've noticed. I was the one who asked for it. But still haven't been able to get it to work. Among other mixins failing to work now too.

Update ModManager if you haven't. It solved some of my issues.

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it's a lot shorter than the Crusader's delay.

According to Deerber (a long time ago):  Basically, every shotgun has a delay proportional to 1/# of pellets. When they introduced the Crusader, they didn't think that the delay would have been much more substantial than the others.

If the delay is proportional to 1/# of pellets, and 0.2 seconds is for 1 pellet, then I would guess that the 8-pellet Claymore's delay is somewhere around 0.025 seconds, i.e., not noticeable.

No, it's updated. Just double checked. Next game repair I'll try with clearing mixin cache too and see what happens.
