You know it's true! That the end of the day, you just wanna shampoo your hair then wrap it up in a towel while you get your kill on with some MP matches.
Now, if you'll excuse me…

Time to get my killing on.

Bored?
What's there to be bored of. For some reason, during the time after Kotor and now, BioWare removed life-like hair from their bucketlist of things to do. While i'm not one to point (EA) fingers, it's possible a certain requisition of a beloved company might be the reason. Maybe. Not completely certain since BioWare does seem to love their Lego dos.

I see!!
I'm sorry, I didn't see the importance of good hair. (My one is cut short so it's low maintenance)

These guys thought they knew the importance of good hair but were sadly mistaken.

Spoiler
That hair is just so awesome and I love you for making this thread
.
Here's some big Sci-Fi hair.

I think hair is doubly important in ME. IF Humans are the only alien species with hair, and hair is our most defining and important feature (it is), then we have to make the most of that one defining feature. If we're not the only alien species with hair, then triply so is hair important because competition. We'll have a hair-off with the other hairy aliens and we'll bloody well win. Because Humans are hair masters, and VERY vocal hair enthusiasts that hopefully BioWare have heard loud and clear, because we won't win the hair competition if our hair is anything like in past games. NOT that ME is a hair contest. But if it was... you know... I'd want to win it. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't like to lose, I don't believe in the no hair scenario.
Can a krogan survive a double-headbutt?

Will we ever know?
The importance of hair in the ME universe cannot be emphasized enough. None of the MW species, except humans, had hair. That fact alone allowed the humans to become the dominant species in the MW. We may have had more trouble with the reapers, if only they had hair. So, it is obvious that building a force of extra-ordinary magnitude in Andromeda requires cooler hair than ever before.
I think BW is aware of all of this. Therefor we can be sure that extravagant hair will be the primary focus of ME:A. We don't need to worry at all.

I really really really hope so. I love DAI but the hair options are awful (like only 2 semi good ones).
Speaking of hair...
And humans being the best in the galaxy at hair...
I've always thought it odd that quarians would have head hair in those suits, especially long like Tali -- even though her image is just a stock photo. Not only does it seem completely pointless but also incredibly uncomfortable. It would be more practical for them to have shorter cuts...
Is it just me? ![]()

You are right. It is therefor safe to assume that quarians are actually bald. However, I think that Tali just wanted to impress Shepard. Why else would she come up with a stock photo she got from the extranet?

Shut up! That's kind of depressing ![]()

Speaking of human hair, this summer I shed a lot and even saw the doctor because I was freaking out about it, but she was like, uhm... you've got a lot of hair (i'm shaving it off next Wed. Annie Lennox style, hate long hair).
That got me thinking if the Citadel races enjoy human hair flying around into their food, on their clothing, on their faces, etc. I think humans would be forced to wear headscarves if it was long.

Hair romance though?

She definitely knew the real way toYou are right. It is therefor safe to assume that quarians are actually bald. However, I think that Tali just wanted to impress Shepard. Why else would she come up with a stock photo she got from the extranet?
I just shaved my head yesterday, but was so worried doing it cause the hairdresser didn't seem to know what she was doing. That is such a horrible feeling for us short-haired men. If she screws up, you gotta go completely bald cause your hairline put itself in a corner because eyebrows were talking ****.
My point is, also have good short hair options. There needs to be like 50 different hairstyles for men, and like 75 for women. And give us the ability to cross hairdress.

I can headcanon this.

I have shaved the whole head Sinead O'Connor style before. Bad idea. You end up with the beginnings of a rat tail when it grows out. Also for some reason men and women start to think you are lesbian.

hahaha. I'm a dude, so I definitely don't get that problem.
But yeah, men can get worried about their hair too.

...
Never thought of that. Aliens probably shed stuff too like skin flakes, scales... and whatever salarians would have. Something moist? We all know the asari are perfect so they obviously don't shed anything. except their clothes. ![]()
The longer the the hair the more it does seem to shed? Worse when sleeping because it always seems to be in my face. Sometimes in my food. And I have a cat so I don't need to eat more hair than I already do.
sad truth is more sad than funny.
I could never imagine having it ^that^ long.
Still, I don't like when my hair is too short either. It needs to be somewhere in the middle. A nice, happy medium I can pull back/braid, because styling takes far more effort than I'm willing give.
Ryder doesn't have such concerns, so let's get on with the hair-mancing!

Now we're talking. It may cause a bit of a problem while wearing a helmet, though.
