Any news? Are they in the game? So far all I see is the Korgan and Asari... no sign of Quarians or the other races.

Would be great to see new races but if I see no Quarians then... crap.

Too silent... no news at all. Even Left 4 dead 3 has news.

There might be unsanitised doorknobs in Andromeda. Can't take the risk.

I'm serious. I hope BioWare doesn't put them into the recycling bin

A Google search would have served you better. The answer is no. With the exception of turians, It's unlikely any MW species will appear that haven't already been shown, especially not the deeply unpopular soup rats.

Well, time to erase BioWare from my library now. Thank you for the answer... looks like I'll be spending alot more time in Toussaint.

No, there hasn't been any news of Quarians being in Andromeda. When asked about them or the other not confirmed species, Bioware just says they'll talk about that closer to release.

No room for bucketheads on the Ark. Besides, we may encounter another alien as foolish as the Quarians in Andromeda.

In the MW, dextro planets seem to be rare, but there's at least enough established for the Turians to flourish, and the Quarians have their flotilla that they maintain.

My point being, what if they feel it's not worth bringing dextros, namely Turians and Quarians, to Andromeda because of that. They don't know how long it'll take for them to find a suitable dextro planet, and their own dextro supplies might run out by then. And they can't be sure they'll discover some 'hub world' that provides dextro food. on the other hand Quarians have experience with this sort of thing, so it may still be worth a shot. I mean that seems to be something easy to overcome if BioWare wants to include Quarians in ME:A.

It has nothing to do with in universe practically, and if it did, the spacebourne civilization of the quarians would be near the top of the list to be included for a venture such as this.

Take for instance that krogan are in despite being combative towards others, or even counterproductive, because to most ME without them is like ST without Klingons. Turians are almost certainly in too, as you need some space militarist Romulans to hate on the Klingons. They are identifiable and associated with the franchise (along with asari, who are definitely included) by even people not particularly into it, and fill recognizable sci fi tropes. Delete them and people will notice.

Quarians by contrast are like the Breen. Yeah, they exist, but only nerds really care about them; everyone else forgot they existed or vaguely remembers them as FOTM villains in like one story arc. They're expendable.

for someone who hates """political correctness""" you sure do bring it up a lot. on a thread that's not at all related to it, mind you.

Oh but it does. There were huge threads on this forum that wanted androgynous Asari and said the hips on Quarian's were "problematic" from the little mafia that is on this forum 24/7 and bullies everyone and resorts to censorship and reporting anyone that does not agree with everything accepted in "intersectional feminism" (list grows daily).

But whatever. Sony is losing 400 million on Ghostbuster's, losing more paying media outlets to write false articles about great toy sales (they were on clearance before the movie even released) and the Wonder Woman trailer has like a 60 to 1 upvote to downvote ratio.

Men are not against women heroes or protagonists. They are against intersectional feminism (feminism that was hijacked) and the new Bioware (which is Bioware only in name is infected with it like a disease. The fact Bioware hired Sam Maggs who attacked video game publishers as a con artist is hilarious. This will be the last big Bioware game ever, IF it even comes out. EA is not going to throw away 100 million dollars and after Ghostbuster's no one is going to do this again. DA:I also sold like trash and Witcher 3 is nearing and probably already surpassed 10 million copies and did it without Denuvo or any DRM.

Oh and if you think any other dev will EVER hire this "woman" again? Good luck with that. She will be blackslisted and it is not like anyone buys her books and her youtube pages have like 100 views on her videos.

Goodbye intersectional feminism. The con and this horrible movement which has been BAD for women, lasted way too long.

I find it difficult to believe that the krogan, who the Citadel races have at one point classified as enemy combatants, and who are for the most part, until like a few weeks if at all (depending on departure time), near-sterile, are considered worthwhile to bring along (especially since, even with their extended lifespans, the general perception of them is that they would rather swing a club than work a wrench, so they have little value as technicians to keep things running during an extended cyro sleep for shorter-lived species), but the quarians, who, while having a bad reputation in Citadel space, have never been at war with the Council, despite having the largest fleet in the known galaxy, aren't.

Especially considering that a former companion was a love interest. I doubt the quarians will be reduced to cameos, though I also wouldn't be surprised to learn that their numbers are low in Andromeda.

BioWare should just scrub ME and make a pure smut ridden dating sim as it seems the only reason a lot of peeps want quarians or femme companions at all is to have sex with them. Guess that's why y'all gots a photoshop for the sexiez.

I'm guessing the sex you gettin isn't any good and the sex you want you can only get in vidya games.

I hope you get a giant, butt lusty, krogan instead.

BTW to a particular poster who spouted racist harassment to Mike Gamble (you know who you are/the one obsessed with female jawlines), Mexico and Canada are part of the United North American States in the MEU. If you actually were a ME fan obsessed with the lore instead of teh femme p****, you'd know this. So f!Ryder can potentially be Mexican if people want to create her that way. You were irate at Mike Gamble saying that she looked ugly and Mexican, and no Mexicans in space or whatever, if I remember the tweet correctly.

Oh, and Sam Maggs (that her name?) isn't working on ME.

I hope Quarian are here too. I already have a hard time being hyped for Andromeda without the original setting and with the ghost over my head of those things that are called "endings" in ME3, making me barely interested in the new game, no Quarian or Turian would have me not even touch the game at all.

Honestly with the crappy writers' treatment they got in ME2 and ME3, I'd rather they not appear just so they can be Bioware's punching bag.

If the arks are huge then we probably see most species back. On the other hand, I'm not very interested in any of the MW species. Their stories are finished. I rather see the Andromeda species, instead. I loved ME1 for visiting new worlds, but Andromeda is a chance to bring that to a greater level. Let's see more of the new species in the squad.

Mechanic: Screw this. I'm done with you MW types.

i think the first part is a bit harsh (sorta true, but harsh  )

but about the second part, yeah a lot of the twitter comments are pretty bad. apparently, only conventionally attractive girls are allowed in video games.

Quarians were called back to the flotilla for their war against geth. Sure a few were exiled/refused the call for one reason or another, as logic would dictate. However they would be too scattered and low numbers to be able to sustain a population, add in their immune system and voila you have something not worth sending out to andromeda, as if they were worth it anyway.

If the arks left after the quarian geth war then they're extinct in all my games.

Why is everyone still so focused on the old races? Shouldn't we be more concerned about the new races and how much better they will be than the Borians?

Watch, N7 day comes...  We're all excited about a big info dump.   Two minute trailer, showing maybe five seconds of a Quarian's hands.

I'mma gonna be pissed, if that happens.

Personally, I hope there are no Qs or Ts.

Remember, it's supposed to be a Human Centric story + the new aliens in the cluster.

Out with the old and in with the new, I say.
