Just in case anyone comes searching for this again, I found out how to do it - the male versions of the Face/Eye emissive and normal maps work on the female face. I didn't search Coalesced thoroughly enough - in biogame\sfxgame\sfxplayercustomization\, there is the same data entries that encode how the game responds to Para/Ren ratio in determining scar levels. Just as an example, I replaced the value
(Threshold=(X=-10.0f,Y=-0.40f),Emissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Emissive.Face_EmisScars_05",Normal="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Scar.Face_NormScars_05",EyeEmissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Eye.Eye_EmisScars_05",FemaleEmissive="BIOG_HMF_HED_Alignment.Emissive.HMF_Face_EmisScars_05",FemaleNormal="BIOG_HMF_HED_Alignment.Scar.HMF_Face_NormScars_05",FemaleEyeEmissive="BIOG_HMF_HED_Alignment.Eye.HMF_Eye_EmisScars_05",Color=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=0))
representing the worse scars, with:
(Threshold=(X=-10.0f,Y=-0.40f),Emissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Emissive.Face_EmisScars_05",Normal="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Scar.Face_NormScars_05",EyeEmissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Eye.Eye_EmisScars_05",FemaleEmissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Emissive.Face_EmisScars_05",FemaleNormal="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Scar.Face_NormScars_05",FemaleEyeEmissive="BIOG_HMM_HED_Alignment.Eye.Eye_EmisScars_05",Color=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=0))
All I did was replace anywhere I saw texture names (the ones that start with BIOG_HM[M|F]_HED_Alignment in this case), I replaced the HMF (presumably for "human female") in the preamble with "HMM", and removed the "HMF" from the actual name of the texture (the part after "Alignment" (the second part is because while the actual texture names in the engine for the female scars have the gendered preamble, the male ones do not)). This forces the engine to load the male textures, instead of the female ones.
It is worth mentioning that I knew how to look for this section of coalesced from this post on this forum https://forum.biowar...shep/?p=1593649.
Note also that I have not played the game for very long with this change, and I cannot vouch for whether or not it messes anything up.
I hope this helps, in the rare chance that someone else wants to nail this very specific annoyance.
