Wouldn't that be nice?

The motivation for running on your treadmill to get some exercise after sitting and playing DragonAge on your day off is to imagine yourself chasing after the darkspawn weapons in hand.

Haha, in PE class I actually imagine the archdemon is chasing me so I'll run faster! :D

Or better yet calm you down and then take full advantage of you to soothe your fears in his own dirty little way!Image IPB

When you finish the main game and crack straight on into the Expansion even though you have a 4-in-1 set of Baldur's Gate games, and Summoner for the PC sitting on your study window sill just begging you to play them next.

I like to tease them.

You know you've played too much Dragon Age when...

- your husband (who hasn't played DAO) includes "Alright, Alright" in his conversations.

- you are considering growing out your hair to put in a Ferelden bun braid

LOL at the second point - soon you will go into a hairdresser's and ask them for a "Ferelden".
And if they know what you mean you and they will wink at each other and quietly exchange stats and tactics during the hairwashing phase...

-You have post-game trauma and constantly have flashbacks to ostagar and Denerim

-You imagine that the police are darkspawn and wonder how your warden would deal with them when pulled over....invariably resulting in you being pummelled to death for assault

-you see a plane in the distant sky and decide it is an archdemon, scaling the nearest skyscraper you attempt to pull a riordan...unfortunatley it was much further away then it looked so you only pull of the fall to your death part of the Riordan.

-You attack hippy campers in the forests with a large broadsword, when questioned by the authorities as to why you commited this action you replied " Their dalish!!!"

-You have attempted to order your dog to maul door to door salesmen and religious preachers, you started yelling angrily when the dog didn't use Nemesis and Overpower on the hapless visitors.

Probably when your Xfire profile reads that you've spent over 200 hours on it. I think that applies to most games though...

-When your alarm clock rings to wake you up, but you have not slept yet.

-When you wake up in the mourning and think of ideas for this topic

-12 hours went to fast and still want more time to play

(all of this happened to me last night)

I hate to say it, but yes Cenwyn, that would be better.

And I have fully accepted that I should, in fact, be in a mental home for even thinking it. Gemma... he's not real... for the love of God snap out of it! Oh how I wish I'd never discovered this sodding game. Image IPB

Why thank you Warden 118! For all of Alistair's good and bad traits, he has a delicious naughty, naughty streak in him. Reminds me of my husband...................... Image IPB

My dear Gemma I think there are many of us women warden commanders who probably should be in a mental hospital for that fantasy. Lovers of Alistair unite! But I don't think the game would be as  fun if we at least did not get to daydream? Image IPB

Although I will admit I have had to slap myself on occasion for a reminder that he is just a character and it is just a game so I am right there with you. But still it is nice to wrap yourself in your own little fantasy game world for awhile. If anything just take the edge off of the stress of life. Image IPB

Although my husband may wish at times he had never bought that game. He is one to talk though Mr. Assassins Creed addict he is!Image IPB
