There's nothing wrong with the Asari.

I disagree that Bioware is the biggest RPG maker in the world. That title I would say goes to Square Enix.

You think they have more money to play with? I doubt it. They also had to make deals with MS to even get ROTR released (great game btw and I loved it on PC). Might change if ME:A is a bust. SWTOR was rumored to cost 200 million dollars. If you are talking quality I would say CDPR, but they are only releasing one quality game every 3-4 years like a Naughty Dog. If CDPR ever gets to the point where they have multiple projects going let's see if they can maintain the quality.

I think it's Bethesda..

I think Square is in the same boat as Bioware. I thought FF13 was cool, but it seemed to lose a lot of fans.

I can careless whether the new Asari are ugly as long they make female human hot, and have her be a romance option for straight males.

Lawdy, more hyperbole. Climb down off that cross. Nobody is making you out to be a villain. Having an opinion on what I want to see in gaming that differs from yours isn't going to harm you. So fragile.

I'm just chilling. I'm not on some cross. I'm using your own words. Not mine. To think you've been trampled on for 30 years is what's dramatic. I'm not the victim here. You apparently are. I only think it's funny.

Probably right. Bethesda prints money and they did it on an ancient game engine where they just had Nvidia throw in some Gameworks effects on top of it. Wonder if they will use the new Id Tech on future games. Looked great in Doom.

Why do you insist on escalating my words to an absurd extreme with mischaracterizations of what I'm saying? You can't have a conversation on this issue without resorting to accusations of 'social engineering' and being 'trampled on' for 30 years. You guys have undeniably been catered to in gaming for 30 years. That's a fact and, yes, it is privilege. I don't like how women have been represented due to that catering to men. I'm asking for more diversity in how women are represented. I'm happy to see that we are getting that with Bioware games. I can't muster up much of a care if it upsets some of you guys.

So many fans. Such a following, while tweeting out this AGENDA. Meet Bioware's new writer. Bioware decided to hire this person, so I do not see why they would censor her opinions on their forum. People should know what the people at Bioware are like now. I would post examples of her fiction to show why she was hired at the biggest RPG maker in the world (for now because CDPR is coming), but she has never written any. That gets you hired at Bioware now days though. She also happened to write articles on Bioware games, ONLY praising and lauding recent ones.

http://www.pcgamer.c...ind-of-fandom/

I have a challenge to Bioware though. If they really think this is their audience now, and want to claim that they have no agenda? Announce this hire to the world. Also link her video on GTA 5. Have IGN do an article on what a great hire it is. NM, because they will not even let this post exist on this forum, let alone announce the hires they are making to push certain agendas. It would be financial suicide. So why does EA allow Bioware staff to hire people like this in the first place? WTF is going on at Bioware? Want to make a LBGT otherkin game make one. Do not sit there and retcon Asari and push Transgender, androgynous agendas, while high visibility people like Boogie2988 jokingly refer to ME:A as Mass Effect Androgyny.

Darn it, I don't know whether to laugh or to ask you to seek help. I wish I knew whether you're clinically nutty or not.

Bioware only has as much money to play with as they do because they are owned by EA, the largest gaming company in the world. The amount of money you can throw at a project doesn't make you the biggest. It's things like the number of games made/facilities/employees, etc.

In terms of quality, Square Enix blows CDPR away in my opinion. Square Enix has made Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Deus Ex, Star Ocean, and other quality RPG franchises. All CDPR has done is the Witcher, and there are plenty of complaints about the quality of the Witcher games, like its gameplay. We'll see how they do with Cyberpunk 2077(I'm wishing CDPR the best since I love Cyberpunk).

I'd say Bethesda is the biggest in the Western Hemisphere.

Then lobby for Bioware to take up my challenge. You have 30,000 posts here pushing the same agenda that Sam Maggs does and you think you are the majority and that people agree with all of this when Ghosbuster's is about to lose 400 million dollars (Feig said the movie needed to clear 500 million in a interview)?

And you tell me to seek help? You are DELUSIONAL. Most of the world is disgusted, or fed up with intersectional feminism (a totally misleading name since it is not just women). WOMEN DID NOT GO SEE GHOSTBUSTER'S.

So you want Bioware to alienate their male gamers and target like 1 percent of the women? RIP Bioware. EA will shut them down after ME:A if they go down this path.

Now go hit up "The Mary Sue" where they paint a 400 million dollar catastrophe as a success and post FALSE articles about toy sales when the Ghosbuster's toys were on clearance before the movie even launched because retailers figured it would be a disaster. Facts, reason and logic do not exist in a hug box/safe space, which is the only reason someone like you can become this delusional, or think that a SMALL, TINY fraction of the population represents the majority and that they want content based on what they want to push or want accepted.

Yeah, yeah, my daddy's got it bigger than yours, makes more money than yours and his dumplings taste much better while having far fewer calories.

If we're going to bring other companies into the mix, could we at least make it relevant? Not trying to pick on you, Hanako. Same thing goes for everyone else trying to find a new battleground for the RPG wars.

Oh, no worries. I never planned on it being a conversation. I just planned on it being a one note post, since while Bioware is prominent as myself and others have said it isn't the largest like the poster was saying. Since we are all in agreement about that, no need to continue.

Do you know how hilarious that sounds from people who have 30,000 plus posts, which were the majority of the people that attacked me on this thread, who all miraculously support the exact same things and agendas?

I HOPE this is their job and they are astroturfing. If not? They might want to think about the analogy with glass houses. Anyone who posts 30,000 plus messages here? Needs help. Also probably needs a job. Their poor mother and father....

Have fun posting all day and not having a job though, while calling people losers, insane, etc. What a joke. Back to work... I leave the the stupidity of the Bioware forums to the "regulars".

No, I think you might have paranoid schizophrenia, or possibly just paranoid personality disorder. Starting with the fact that you seem to think that my post count means that I'm a secret Bioware shill (and also that every single one of those posts have been about that agenda), and moving into this weird free-association rambling (which you do a lot), this time about Ghostbusters, but it really could be anything related to this alleged Agenda that you have such a hateboner for, not to mention the fact that you literally see a conspiracy in a jawline (one not present in the other important women in the same game, note). The reason paranoid schizophrenia came to mind is that you not infrequently remind me of Dr. Gene Ray, Cubic and Wisest Human, founder of the Time Cube website. You don't engage in word salad in the same way, but you sometimes come close.

You know she's only an Assistant Writer, right? Her opinion isn't going to make it into the final game. She's only been hired to spell check, essentially; with maybe only tiny, miniscule bits of writing for the game, here and there.

Ghostbuster's still lost 400 million dollars and a intersectional feminism Mass Effect would lose just as much (percentage wise). Have fun with EA shutting down Bioware if they continue down this path. All you can do is repeat clinical terms that do not apply, while ignoring that no one wants this horrible, backwards agenda.

Have a nice day living in the dream world and blaming men for everything in the world, even though Western men allow you to run that mouth. I would love to see you dropped in the middle east and deal with men who are actually "toxic". Tell them to respect your safe space and see how that works out for you.

You probably have a picture of Gloria Steinem on your wall when she was a CIA asset ROFL. Why? Because you are completely unaware of the history of your "heroes" and that the feminist movement is about CONTROL.

In before you call that a theory when you can watch video of her talking about it. So, so naive.

Oh and have fun on The Mary Sue website hating men. It is owned by this rich white guy. Dan Abrams. His sock and shoe collection probably cost more than your house.

The problem is that when you create a race that is primary purpose is to be "space babies", making them less attractive will hurt the very core of the characters. That's why people have issues with the new Asari.

And again, we have both weird free-association and an apparent inability to engage with one topic before flinging around a bunch of non sequiturs. This is closer to the word salad that I mentioned before.
