I just finished playing the trilogy, and would like to ask you how do you feel about the protagonists of 3 games so far? Personally, I feel warden as the only true hero, as opposed to Hawke or Inquisitor. Whenever I hear news of the warden I get giddy, and meeting Morrigan in Inquisition, and hearing of wardens quest to cure the calling makes me hopeful that next game will feature him as the protagonist once again. 

 

What about you? Who do you like most, and why? And how would you feel about your hero returning in the DA4?

I don't really have a preference for a whole category of protagonists - I've played more than twenty different characters across all three games at this point. I've got favourite Wardens, but also favourite Hawkes and Inquisitors. If I had to pick, it would probably be the Inquistior, simply because they've got both voicing and race selection and I prefer that over silence and being stuck as a human.

 

There is no way I will ever play my favourite Warden in DA4, because she's dead. I think it's extremely unlikely that the Hero of Ferelden will be the protagonist in any future game, although hopefully we'll get to hear what the ones who are still alive are up to.

None of them, although my favourite amongst the heroes is the Warden, but I don't want to my Wardens again though - they have their own lives to live, and I want them to live them, unless they did the US, than their dead.

 

Quizzies return in DA4 seems to be up in air, or least in my head it is, but even if, I'd like to not see them either... Unless the fade goes away during the events of DA4, than I'd like to see my Heroes (Warden and Quiz) than, because if the Warden dies or goes dark (like Revan) than at least it'll end there tale, lol.

i need to play as male elven mage(arcane-blood mage) in DA4 and then i will judge them all, mostly games and what options we have as decidions what we could make

 

i am not like DAI as DA2 in terms of our "desigion matters", cos they are not really

 

and Inquisition itself was not really good cos of those who are forced to be there no matter what our hero think

 

i was not really like how Hawke was represent in DAI and some of his things was not making sense if he was do what i do in my canon, especially his hating blood magic(and he was a blood mage as have friends who are blood mage and possesed by deamon Anders) and not have any strong words or punches in the face with his enemy templar Cullen 

 

so i hope that they will not ruin Inquistior and especially Warden representation in DA4

 

I think it would be better to change heroes when they will talk and have some reaction as desigion, they are our hero and if they was doing something it should make sense according to what they was done before and for what they was stand..i am not think that bio will make that right so it is easy to give players deside when such happen

I believed each hero served their place & role as intended. I don't particularly feel any was more heroic than the other, though if i was forced to choose, I would probably have to go with the Inquisitor. I just personally feel he had a bigger impact in shaping the world of Thedas through the events of Inquisition. We dove much deeper into the lore of Thedas as a result, much more than any of the previous games (which is a plus for me). Of course opinions differ depending of various factors. I personally enjoyed DA 2 and Inquisition more than origins but I get that I'm in the minority.
