I assume this thread is supposed to be about the Duchess spilling the beans to the Inquisitor for no reason. It's just only of those things. Some villains like to gloat before they actually win. The Duchess probably thought the Inquisitor would not survive the ambush, or that it wouldn't matter even if he did.

Naw, more like a gripe by someone who can't beat her in the boss battle.

Ugh why is this such a common trope, up until that point I honestly thought that Florianne was a decent villain  <_<

I like Gaspard so I never liked her. Everything she did was to discredit him so no one would have him as emperor. Life in a city with no one in charge, DA2? Military rule sucks.

Part of why this is such a common trope I guess is so that the main characters and even more so the player/viewer/reader of a story can get some much needed exposition on the bad guys plan. It's either that, finding random diaries/computer logs/videos/other contrieved things with the bad guys plan lying around or the good guys just thwarting the bad guys plans without fully knowing what the plan even is. The latter I assume is very unsatisfactionary for most of the audience.

She was the one who directed you into the trap. The Inquisitor would have to be pretty stupid not to put two and two together and figure out Florianne was working for Corypheus. She might as well gloat.

I hate Florianne's character.

I hate having to dance with her.

I hate her haircut.

I hate her voice.

I hate her attitude.

I hate her fashion choices.

I always make sure to judge a box in the end.

Maybe that's why the OP is missing? Instead of blocking the title, it blocks the whole first post?

I prefer to humiliate her publicly - and I greatly enjoy welcoming her to my party. :P

I knew she was evil the moment I saw that haircut. No sane woman in Orlais would have that hair!

Ozymandias of The Watchmen. The best villain to explain his master plan. "I did it thirty-five minutes ago."

In the box

And now the box is on tour from one noble house to another.

:D I love this war table mission, reading the noble's reaction to it and it shows that the quizitor could be quite morbid at times :D
