Why can't people who mod the lobby just set it to private?!?!

Well I'm sorry, I cannot comply with that request. Watching pugs rocket in vain to escape a crazy tense situation only to fail miserably is the funniest thing I've ever witnessed playing this game. Literally laugh out loud moments to myself. Especially the first few times I've seen it in action and also because they initially all seem to think the rocket went through the map or something, as they keep trying in disbelief. And well, warning players of this would take that surprise factor that provides me with much laughter and sick excitement.

Besides, game is so much more fun without rockets too. Especially wave objectives. Rockets to me is like big time cheating in this game (I literally bail out of many games where I see too many rockets flying around). It also encourages better teamwork and tactics.

WHAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT???

You mean THIS is why I got masticated by that Praetorian while slathering the floor with missiles?

Oh, so you frequently run into this guy. Is he by chance always doing the same thing as in this picture? (Expanding Rocket Launcher radius to cover entire map?

I laughed myself silly.

[X] I hereby endorse this product and/or service

^ bc the destroyer allows autorefill as power and since visiting the ammobox nullifies the glitch it comes as a natural choice 4 those that have the lowest interest in learning anything about the game, catch most attention & perform the easiest.

I think it's prima donnas that likes to be looked at - the "actor mentality" -  that does glitches and mods - so the best way to counter that is to give them the opposite. And I hate to give them the satisfaction to loose my consumables. So. Entrada "Fool the modder conjecture"

On PS3, you can simply strap a rubber band on the movement stick to let your character run indefinitely in any direction.
I don't know if there are an equivalent for PC (probably a paper weight on the forward arrow key). In this way, you are not thrown out of the game for no movement, and can take a 15 minute break away from the console - eat a pierogi, kick the cat sitting on your spectacles, small house chores done (changing the washing).
I bet they will notice after a few waves that the other players are all running into walls in a mechanical way. That leaves them with the utter decision : "a) do I go on myself for 15 minutes or b ) give up on this useless activity when nobody is even irritated by such behaviour".

Voila, when you come back you either have the mission successful banner, or you have mission failed when he/she couldn't even do the objectives with cobras. By any account your pulled the longer straw or mr/mrs "Please notice me".

What can be more fulfilling than that?

Lol that's why I sometimes see others characters run while standing in one place, like they turn around, this crazy movement and it's clear they're not there :D Hah!

The running in one place in the open is something else. It's a bad coding glitch and usually not intentional- usually happens in conjunction with a host having variable connection delay times- like on a mobile connection. Simply avoid them where possible.

Hmmmm I see. Alright then. This is all very confusing. I'll just avoid those people who are acting suspiciously.

I'm okay with one or two rockets a game (not wave, game) for the most dire objectives when everyone ran out of medigel and everyone is dead and truly facked. But other than that I HATE

HATE

people who nuke spawns, or nuke bosses unnecessarily when the options haven't been exhausted.

If I am pugging solo and I'm unsure if the rest of the team is competent enough to get out of dire situations together, I sometimes nuke a spawn once at the start of waves 7 and 9, maybe 5 too to speed those waves along. Or if I find myself cornered by multiple sync-kill enemies, I will blast my way out of that spot.

I've read the "Optimal-Use-of-Missiles"-Thread in the Multiplayer Manifest for that strategy, but I can absolutely understand why people dislike excessive nuking.

Sometimes, I think, it is better to be safe than sorry - had quite a few games where I got myself sync-killed by surprise or stupidity and thought "oh well never mind, the others will end the wave on their own"...just to watch two more guys getting sync-killed also and the last one bleeding out in a lonely corner.

OT: Yeah, there's really not much you can do to avoid modded games - hopefully BW sorts that out for ME:A-MP.

mmm. I like nuking spawns (outside objective waves unless it is removing a target), because it saves my / others' personal time to deplete the wave budget faster.

I don't mind any contribution and playstyle that make overall duration shorter. measuring efficient team player ito duration deviance from 22m in gold and 25m in plat.

Silly nukers =

i) nuking w11,

ii) nuking "other" objectives,

iii) stingy people that hang on unnecessarily onto all 6 cobras, or with no situational awareness when the dude next door is suffering,

iv) those that are nuking 1 bar whittled down bosses

v) those dheads that stand behind you and premature eject their cobras whilst they know yours will be a dud right after.

are a bane which should be erradicated by all means necessary.

Okay a noob question:

Then what are those misile glitches/glitchers on ps3 which sometimes happens or enters your lobby? Those aren't cheaters or modders? I'm so confused...

That's called working as intended. Just ask this lucky BioWare programmer;

To get a good sense of hosts lag from the lobby, just place on X mark on them. The longer it takes to appear, the more laggy your game is going to be. If in game, the longer it takes for your ammo to fill from reaching an ammo box, basically tells you how good your connection is to the host as well. But my fave way to tell in game is with a gimp headshot that takes about a second later to pop.

Nice tip. We all tried that kick host thingy with mexx, in the lobby still, a while back.

Strangely after that he was gone. What do you make of this? I guess that was a superfast connection, in retrospect.

I know a BSN host that is very jumpy, ofc the host himself is quite happy:

I rarely end a match with any rockets. If I see an opportunity to make the game go by faster,by spawn nuking or target nuking, then I do.I guess I'm one of those guys that like sub 20 minute games.

Here you go; https://www.mediafir...ny4ijqq0lv9qlnz (for 1 dmg rockets)

Just put it here or so; C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole

Backup original, but if not, you can always use repair game in Origin menu. Have fun and laugh hard.

With biohazard as host I would change teams and just harass them. Melee them so they do anything. Bring disruptor sounds so you can kill him. I have many more ways to combat assholes like him while off host. He likely has console on host so off host more commands will work as well.

I personally wouldn't bother. Take a snapshot for memories, and leave.

Had 30 mins before heading out to work.  Figured I'd hop on a UUP.  Had some nice Level IV incendiary equipped, and BAM!  Didn't notice the lobby I was in before it was too late.

Well sure. I just said it wasn't for me. I'd rather more quickly search for a more suitable lobby.

people who mod their games never warn players otherwise they'd end up soloing all the time.

So they are a pain in the ass.

Horde mode is especially irritating . It was kinda funny 4 years ago, now it's just annoying.

I've only ever once been in a game with up-powered weapons. Mostly they consist of breaking the limits on enemies. Like endless ranks of guardians. The one I hate is endless phantoms.

I would actually like to play that with my melee-shadow.

I've played thousands of ME3 MP games at this point, and I've never seen that one.
