Plan I set up for restrictions in DAI to make each playthrough as memorial as the first and as realistic as we can, I will be making restrictions for DAO and DA2 when I actually get to them games again been forever.

1. Nightmare + All Trials & Friendly Fire, no pause AOEs for real-time combat only tac cam

2. No golden nug imports

3. AI abilities Xed out, Defensive abilities only until getting Specialized

4. No chest scumming, take all things from chests this includes trials chest aswell

5. Schematic limitations, Level 1-10 only tier 1, Levels 11-19 only tier 2, Levels 20-27 tiers 3&4

6. Only refill bombs and tonics upon returning to our stronghold & first time Capturing a camp or keep

7. Bought, found and trials rewards are usable when you get them, unless a schematic

8. No respeccing ability points for fights only 2 free amulets so just 2 respects the whole playthrough

9. Perma death through each game "eventually" . Only for that specific game IE. If you die in DAI you restart a new Inquisitor including race and class

10. Absolutely no duplicating items for money and unlimited abilities and such no fun to cheat. A true Inquisitor never has to stoop to these cheats!

In depth analysis on #3, OK so AI tactics are on which means are Ally's can basic attack at will but are unable to use abilites due to them Being Xed, if you wish them to use abilities you must switch to them and use them yourself, combat is very similar to mass effect 1 combat where Shepard will pick all abilities but DAI style.

#3 sounds good, but #9 is going to be a b*tch. All Trials is one-shot-kills-ville.

Lol yeah no doubt going to test it on stream here today and see if it's even possible to do with out #9 trials can be very unforgiving at times, without trials def can be done but I'm a bit worried, good thing is more deaths = more DAI lol

I wonder once I actually use #9 if I will have to turn off rub some dirt on it and some how limit potions or something, a promoted Mage or wraith could just wipe us like nothing

Oh gosh don't remind me lol you know I feel like promoted deepstalkers are the worst but they are so rare we never really fight them but wow that poison damage is just so much. I'm thinking to work arounds for the perma death run would be either upload the nug or no nug and use healing potions no to sure. Hell most deaths may come from that first pride demon lol

So as far as #3 goes, so much fun to do that before I would record I would be a pure sword and board champion and switch thru the party after I taunt to max damage and such. But having the Inquisitor as a champion or KE may be best bet for first perma death run

Just tested it today it seems do able but it required me to have a rogue in the squad to use stealth and run away when a promoted enemy wiped the team I made it to around level 6 and got destroyed...hmm it will be easier after Skyhold but getting there seems almost impossible.

Ive soloed this game all trials NM and Friendly Fire with golden nug imports, but it is so much easier then all trials nightmare and a full squad with no golden nug, with a promoted enemy they just one **** kill us before we can even take their health halfway down so as far as #9 goes it just may not be possible without the golden nug imports

Might import the nug but still utilize the restrictions for level 1-10 tier 1 , 11-19 tier 2 and 20-27 tier 3-4, either way it was super fun to try but wow crazy how fast a squad can get wiped by promoted schmucks

I still think the best way to do #9 is to turn off Walk Softly. Then you can keep all of the other restrictions without change.

If you don't like that, yeah, you have no choice, you have to over-gear to deal with promoted enemies, which then means you mow down unpromoted enemies without breaking a sweat. You can't go half measures with Tier 1 restrictions and stuff like that. Part of the purpose of Walk Softly is to up the difficulty for people starting out with a full sync and OP gear from their first minute in Haven.

Yeah well said that def seems to be the only choice at this point I been testing it and yeah it's just almost impossible in many fights
