Ok, so I have imported one of my saves from ME1.  In this save (my favorite) I was pure Paragon and romanced Liara.  I had (and still have) a huge video game crush on Liara, and when I found her on Illium I did everything I could with her missions and stuff, succressfully resolving both of her missions.  It is apparent that she is not recruitable.

I was really dissapointed that, aside from a brief embrace when Shepard and Liara are reunited, she acts like nothing happened.  WTH Liara, we were so close and now you act like I'm just some random person.

So despite me being dissapointed about that, I am now wondering about the new romances.  I have heard several things, like "be faithful to Liara for ME3".  I want to, but she made it obvious that she wants nothing to do with me.  So now Tali comes along, and I am drawn to her because of my love for the first game, but now she is romancable and I have to say I am liking Tali more and more. 

So will romancing Tali in ME2 ruin anything that might still exist between Shepard and Liara?  Also, for my next playthrough (where I did an Ashley romance) will romancing Miranda ruin anything with Ashley?

I think that if you had a romance in ME1 and cheat then there will most likely be a part in ME3 in which u have to choose. So if u romance Miranda then most likely Ashley will be pissed at u in ME3

Thank good Ashley died in my ME1 run through then.

My commander Shepard is a woman, but romanced Liara as well. I hope there is a new woman I can turn my affections on, the Jacob thing does nothing for me.

I like Jacob, but I can't get him to flirt with me yet. Hope I didn't goof it up. And sorry Kaidan, but Mass Effect 3 is probably a long way away.

I'mm not too deep in the game so I don't know how each character plays out but... What about Jack? Old Zero won't romance with the ladies?
