Hi guys.  

 

Played this game to death back on XB360, played the series again a few times on PC but never really touched the MP on PC.  Decided to pick it up again these last few days, but couldn't deal with the really restrictive FOV, it was making me so nauseated.  

 

So, I looked online and saw that you could edit a file to increase the FOV to whatever you like, and also on the tweak page there were a bunch of tweaks to improve the visuals, i.e shadow resolution.  

 

Now, I've been playing for 2 days, and only just thought about reading properly about making these changes.  I did find a post from Bioware stating that changes were fine in SP, but any changes made to give an unfair advantage in MP could result in a ban.  

 

So worryingly, I'm now trying to find out if the change to the FOV to stop me puking was an unfair advantage or not.  And also, the changes to the quality of the game.  

 

My INI file looks like this;

I don't see a VSync affecting my performance at all. I might just switch it back to on. There's a setting in the Config.ini where if you switch it to false or 0, you will not be able to interact with anything. Be careful of that.

Either way, kind of says a lot about the developers main target audience though.

Really??? lol,  How is changing the FOV...you know something that every game these days has on PC, to increase your view angle so it doesn't feel so nauseating when moving.  And the other 2 changes are just to improve the visuals...it's hardly editing unlimited ammo, powers or game breaking cheats lol.   Chill.
