Well you know byne, I don't like to go off topic, oh, who am I kidding.
 
I suppose you mean mainly the combo of the two abilities. I'll have to see how it plays, the new animations do look incredible but I haven't gone near the beta, I don't want any spoilers as their content has become more story-focused as of late. I hated when my druid got the mushrooms, and mana regen went all downhill, so much so that healing became a real p.i.t.a. I stopped and rolled the ever-easy hunter, I rp'd a Wildhammer Dwarf. We've only gone Horde because I can't imagine an Alliance without my husband's pally, Meade, in it. So I rolled her in honor of him, though he was Ret.. I'm also not sure about how well the BE pally will fit in within the class hall, but the Blood Knights will be there I suppose, so I am hopeful.

Nice. I went Alliance because Byne was and he was the reason I started playing. I used to play EverQuest, but everybody else in our little group is a lot younger (I'm 35) so nobody knows what the hell I'm reminiscing about. Byne talking about WoW made me miss it, so... Kind of pointless though, it's not like we ever group or anything. I play WoW like Seraphim's love life: solo play only.

Veladus-AzjolNerub if you ever want to chat after BW shuts down the forum (probably to save the forum from being shut down).

But, WoW can never be to me what BioWare is, I play WoW as I have since about '05-'06 to be with my sons. I have always wanted to, when appropriate, appreciate what they were into since they were little.
 
And naturally, my sons think my BioWare playing is somewhat obsessive, and I admit it, freely, it most definitely is. It was my middle son who told me about the forums, my youngest is now doing the "I told you so" for his telling mom of said forum's imminent demise.
 
Though they have gifted me, along the way, with an Alliance gryphon, the grey warden sword, a mabari, an elcor, all the ME PoP dolls and this past mother's day, three nugs.
 
These games, and most especially, these forums are very important to me.

I know how you feel. The time and thought I've put into these series (well, mostly Mass Effect... I like Dragon Age but I love Mass Effect). Well, I'm semi-disabled so I've got more time for games than anyone should have. =/

I don't understand why everyone's solution is just to make a new forum.

You'd be better off playing as a concern troll and trying to get the people swept up in their righteous indignation. This brand of edgy "I hate you all so I'll be here post after post and day after day" just makes you look an emo loser. Sad!

None of them have indicated they hold any great love for BSN, and David and Chris have actively made fun of the situation. Why would they waste their time to keep something open that they don't like and consider toxic?

People need to stop clinging to this delusion that BSN can somehow be saved or kept open. It's getting shut down, end of.

Well, with 7,381 posts these forums must mean something to you. I care what you have to say, so say it, shout it. It has an effect, no matter how fleeting, it is still worth it.

I did it once just to see that side of things. Get more info for debating, that sort of thing. It honestly made me physically sick. Defenseless prisoners begging for their lives, and Harbinger's balls, Bethany at the end... Letting Meredith kill her there is the most indefensible, outright evil option I've seen in a BW game. Probably gaming altogether. I couldn't even watch it on Youtube. But yeah, it literally made sick to my stomach to see (the only other thing in all of gaming that's made feel sick is synthesis). It really felt like going through a concentration camp "exterminating" the prisoners. Unless you're RPing as evil, I have no idea how anyone can rationalize that to themselves.

People have been comparing the BSN closure to ME/A, but the more I think about it... this is DA2. BSN is the Circle and because of some blood mages/red lyrium "infectious toxicity" we are all getting ANNULLED without a say or fighting chance...

 

So who will be our Champion?

I sided with the Templars for my 2nd play through just to see what it was like. And let me say, the depth of wrongness starts from Act One. I named the whole game Mercy Hurts based off that quest with the mages in the cave. I also felt ill from playing it, and thank goodness, Carver was a Grey Warden in this PT.  I can't even imagine Bethany being annulled and I don't even love her as a character (hope to someday.) In the end, I head cannoned that Hawke regretted choosing Meredith's side as soon as she calmed down, but had already burned her bridges with Orsino. Carver was even, "What are you doing, you're fighting your own people??!" She showed mercy when there were options to.  And then turned down the vicountess position ( I choose to ignore that one line od Dialogue in DAI that says she accepted it. )She devoted herself to getting that abomination out of Anders and both were committed to atonement. Which is why she sacrificed herself in the Fade and I bawled like a baby. 

 

Goes to show how even a screwed up play through can be meaningful.

 

The champions are the people who are losing sleep to make a new forum for us to go to. Choose your favorite and thank them.

the member should have not come and trolled my community forum and the members here. they were upset by that. they, of course reported him to me. i have clear rules on the forum, it says no trolling.
