Without BioWare's decision to close this forum, no-one would be building alternatives.
Everyone who is making the effort to do something about it has to be commended, but can we please get along while we do it.
Making a forum is dead easy. Hey I just made another unofficial site with a picture of a banana:
http://unofficialbioware.boards.net/

It's on the same ProBoards platform that uBSN and TSG sits, heck, maybe I'll find some standard boilerplate rules in the help menu to attach if I look.
(I'm not seriously starting another forum, just making a point)
Maintaining a board takes a ton of work, we're not talking hours but days of effort to make it sweet.
Ill-tempered comments on all sides are hurting us pulling some good forum options together.
If BioWare would prefer to disband the toxicity into irrelevant forums the buying public never goes to, congratulations that effort is being supported here.
So yes, troll on uBSN - bad,
folk getting angry about it - bad.
Oh, and one last thought, it makes no sense to say that trolling is part of forums.
If trolling means being cheeky, having fun, posting memes, sure.
If trolling means posting abuse, nope.
Can we focus on the solution please?
