They've got ice cream tho
I had a cookies and cream flavored protein shake after my time at the boxing gym today. They can GOML.

I...I really thought I hated this forum. It just pissed me off most of the time, for the past couple months I've been trying my best to stay away from it. Now it's going to be gone, and...
I'M...I'M SO SAD RIGHT NOW?

BIOWARE, WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND CONSTANTLY HITTING ME IN THE FEELS I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD?
SO MANY THINGS LEFT UNSAID
NUUUUUUUUUU
It's that feeling you get when that horrible person you dislike gets a giant wad of seagull poop smeared all over their hair.
I don't dislike the developers though, just the people that wanted to shut down the forums and are thumbing their noses at us.
Hippo doodoo for them (Hippos are vicious and so is their poos).
These Glassdoor Reviews --
(not gonna lie, they do make me feel a little sad too)
Two of the negative ones were written on Wednesday. I wouldn't be surprised if more come out, and it's revealed that there were a series of layoffs.
Not surprisingly, the German word is infinitely better.
Deutsch ist nicht eine Poetisch Sprache
I've got one! And this one is a current employee as well.
I must just have some sort of superhuman processing or something, because for the life of me I can't figure out why anyone is surprised to see Glassdoor posts of this nature. I mean, in the past 4.5 years, look at how Bioware has dealt with consumer adversity - how pretty yet clearly disingenuous their words consistently are, and how far apart those words are from their actions. Look at the people they've lost, and the rate at which they've lost them. Look at their overall decisions, both in the development of their products and the way they're operating as a company. Look at their lack of friendly presence and consistency in their places of public outreach, notably BSN itself. Everything this company has said and done since the ME3 ending debacle has pointed to a few hard points: the people in charge think very highly of themselves, do not like to be questioned, and don't really know what they're doing. Those Glassdoor reviews reflect this: the higher-ups know what to say, but not what to do, and they will NOT allow themselves to be questioned by anyone, be it fans or employees.

Oh, I don't dislike the devs either.
I was just looking for a colorful way to describe the word.
lol
Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook

Pros
This company used to be stellar. Made great software. Now it dumps quality everywhere it can in order to suit EA. The brand is tarnished, and I recommend everyone to stay away.
Cons
Working for a company that used to represent gamers, now it's just a shell. "Freemium" model is just a BS as it sounds. It consists of hooking gamers with something well programmed and free, and suckering them to pay for something expensive and buggy. Don't waste your time or money.
Advice to Management
EA is a vampire. Now that they've got hold of Bioware, there's nothing that can save it now.
Well from another review apparently one side of the building doesn't even have windows so if anything vampires are turning people into more vampires. Go to a temple and I'm sure a healer can deal with it before it spreads. /Skyrim which I bought because DA2 was so disappointing
That's not very useful advice. It's clear they must adapt, move on actually. This is too sad, and you can see most of them are fond of BW...
If any employer is reading this, it'll be corny so don't judge me much but...
I love you BioWare, you're the only company that has yet to fail me even when your games are flawed as hell. Thank you for all your hard work. I'm sorry the cancerous EA has done this to you.
I recommend Obsidian Entertainment if you haven't checked them out; they steadily replaced Bioware as my favorite developer and they make great games (granted, they do have issues with bugs). ![]()

I don't hate the employees either. Except the ones who are jerks for no discernible reason and the ones with White Tears mugs.
Otherwise they're cool. But damn there is some backstage nonsense going around.

Haha, the first is true.
I disagree with the second point, but will concede to it in the case of Planescape Torment.

I love Obsidian too but this is true.
Natashina changed her handle and the new one makes me sad.

Shhh, shhh. It's going to be okay.
I'll hold you until the tsunami consumes us all.
As someone who is also on the EA-hate train I also have to ask, does anyone think Bioware would still be open without EA? Was the company sustainable without them?
Tides of Numenera from Inxile looks promising.
Well except the fact that the beta has a game breaking bug they still haven't fix ...
But otherwise the starting area you can test is pretty good.
