Ditto. The box could just be filled with tainted needles and it'd meet my expectations.

He even italicized the title wow
Nobody expects the Italicizied Inquisition!

To be fair I think the Bioware's community manager position is like a sacrifice to the blood gods, it's like being the goat led out to the hordes to appease.
I know I would hate to tell a whole beloved board that they are fired.

Hey Everyone, this is a reminder to please stay on topic in this thread. This thread is not for debating your experience with Inquisition.
And what is the topic of this last stand of a thread exactly? If we're going with the content of the official announcement then I'd say there are several embedded in it.
Regardless, we've got 839 more pages to fill with recriminations, conspiracy theories, character assassination, sh!t flinging, pleading, cajoling, ego tripping, grandstanding, shrill virtue signaling, scathing ad hominems, deaf dialogues and circular arguments.
And you know what? Beyond the helpful camaraderie, the enjoyable debates, the thoughtful essays and the treasure trove of accumulated knowledge, it's these very moments, the rowdy ones, that make forums a far superior online experience than any other medium: because they weld people together into a living community - rather than a congregation of drones intoning praises on schedule.
At this point the real reasons behind BSN's abolition are irrelevant. If this is to be our end, then I say we should make it into one last memorable firework.
Well then let's make every post about keeping the forums open. And, please, do not write posts like the ones that have been appearing on their Facebook page lately. I don't have an FB page but I peeked at their's. Let me tell you, the negativity there, downright frightening.
Please keep the forums open. There is no way closing them is going to improve Bioware's image.

Well, articles have already popped up about it, so I'd say the damage is done already,
I don't think anyone is going to be very happy to hear the news, even if they weren't part of this.

We all united as one nation that had been wronged. If I remember right it was one guy making all the banners. We were all one in an epic dumpster fire of rejection. Almost every other PR disaster had us divided into the people unhappy and the people defending Bioware, but that one glorious night and the days that followed we all cried out "WTF?!?!" in one multilingual voice.
And now, as the sun sets on these forums, we can come together one last time. over a similar disaster
Indeed. Forbes has one with a particularly damning title- "BioWare Is Shutting Down Its Forums Just In Time For 'Mass Effect: Andromeda'"Well, articles have already popped up about it, so I'd say the damage is done already,

Don't know how to feel
Was that a rhetorical question?

what in the world....
I'm not talking about the score and also the reviews ARE NOT ALL FICTIONAL. They're clearly written by people who played.

The title is damming, but they support Biowares decision, because "The last thing Bioware needs is to be pounded by negativity from their Forums for MEA, which I have high hopes for."

Think most families Christmas parties, especially when some booze is involved.

But many are fictional, and I prefer to use a site that is not so biased, erroneous, and blatantly incorrect to sift through the bad to find the good. Tis far better to use other locations.

Well let's just say the author of that article Erik Kain isn't going to be on my Christmas card list if you know what I mean. ![]()
Yes, but they are being terribly negative about it, calling BioWare all sorts of things. It's, hmm, what's the word to describe what it is like over there now, oh yeah, I remember...TOXIC.
I need to stay here in this forum, it is definitely nicer here.
