Inquisition got a much better reception than DA2 and ME3 here so I don't see why Bioware shouldn't believe they're on the rise and thus keep the forum operating.

Or they have a different opinion than you, I know, a shocking possibility.
Everyone else adopts the same tone of authority I'm using when trashing DA2 and ME3, so maybe it just bothers you to see me give the same spotlight to my anti-Inquisition opinion.

Maybe a segment of people who hated ME3 completely left after ME3 and the population that was around for Inquisition was different in composition

Or maybe, just maybe, it's because those two games are provably worse than DAI in several categories.

Not at all. Not even a single category other than graphics.

Or it could just be that Inquisition was a better game. Not perfect, hell not even close, but still better than at least its DA predecessor in some respects. Enough to not garner anywhere near the same amount of disdain.

Much worse, and deserving far more disdain.

Worse ending with even less meaningful differentiation in endings. Worse character development, worse antagonist development, the entire premise is dumb. The animation, lazy MMO camera direction and fetch quests, lack of main story content, wholesale unapologetic copying of various Skyrim elements for no reason other than cuz they're popular, little to no substantial companion side quests or individual motivations or development apart from the inquisitor, laughably stupid and Disney celebration scenes and ending scenes. Absolutely no coverage of allies helping out at the end or choices mattering. Literally copping out and reducing subplots and material for play into text boxes on the war table, with none of the action or consequences interactive. Annoying, tone-agitating and off-atmosphere companions.
Opinions, opinions, opinions. Nice try though.

Your words are also opinions. You're just dismissing what I'm saying while putting your own opinion in the center. You don't get to do that.

Well, fair enough to your opinion. But you're outnumbered on this forum and outside of it in regards to how Inquisition holds up against DA2.
I would've figured after Inq's responses that Bioware would pop back around here more.

Out of curiosity, I logged into my tumblr and typed "mass effect" into the search to see what came up.
Now I've seen Tali using anal beads, I hope you're happy Bioware.
Spoiler Alert...
They don't give a ****.

We have wizards here, fool! What do you have other than cute little cuddly things that want to rip your face off?
Giant scorpions?

You don't get to what your doing either, but your doing it, just like I am. Boo hoo, you hate DAI, and your angry that people hate the games you like. Get over it. Stop being upset over peoples opinions.

That's pretty tame, I've seen everything from anal beads to omno-dildos to Miranda giving a reach-around to ladyboy Jack.

On Facebook, sure. Oh that's right - facebook was the audience Bioware going for, right? The audience that will criticize them less?
The most meaty user reviews on metascore (the ones with longer than three sentences) are scathing.

If Reddit is bad for this sort of thing(and it is), tumblr's worse.

"Sense of entitlement" is one of those words that smart people said once, and stupid people heard it and went "I can use this for ANYTHING!" It's like the duct tape of dumb people's arguments.
You know, kind of like "toxic."

I still occasionally say "sense of entitlement" when I'm talking about whiny crybabies.
