Hmm. When I've seen this sort of thing in the past it's turned out to be two indpendent bugs with similar symptoms. But that was PC stuff; I've never heard a plausible interpretation for two supposedly identical consoles having different bug profiles. But I don't follow console stuff all that closely.
IMO, it's some common and benign seeming thing that's clogging the script engine. And there's no symptoms untils it's jammed too much to ever work right again. Something like having "use healing potion if below 30% hp" in the tactics, or possibly even just using a certain type of weapon. It's got to be something innocuous.
Come to think of it, I remember a rumor that DA:O had problems with too much RAM as well as too little. Something about a bad addressing scheme.

With the kinds of bugs DAO has, I wouldn't doubt this for a minute. How many abilities on items don't do anything at all? Stuff like "weakens nearby darkspawn"? Hell, it could be one of those types of things.
I disagree with this, but we shall see. I think Andromeda will be their last game and the reason is that they haven't talked about any future titles. We knew of Shadow Realms or whatever it was called, but that got cancelled a few months back. Usually we know of DLC that is on the way before their next release hits, but yet, there is none for Inquisition beyond the released Trespasser DLC. I hope you are right though, because I'd like to have more titles to potentially play.
I agree, we haven't heard any confirmation of a new Dragon Age game and we got confirmation of ME:A when ME2 was relatively new. I mean, all they told us is that they're going to make more in the same universe after the trilogy is done, but they did tell us they're making a 4th ME game. We've heard nothing, AFAIK, about a 4th DA game.
Inquisition had 3 dlc. The other 2 were Descent and Jaws of Hakkon. Not very memorable.
I don't know if Andromeda will be the last ME game, but I hope so.
