Huh? How come?

 

It would appear that EA Help and Answer HQ are still directing people to this website for technical assistance related to BioWare.

 

Which was never actively provided by the site, actually, so it was never a legit approach, but the metadata stored here could often be linked to someone asking for assistance (no longer possible with the change.)

 

Naturally, they need to have set up an alternative way to address technical help prior to closing the forum.

 

They did not.

 

Which is just more proof of how well this decision was thought through.

 

 

 

 

Seriously, BioWare, you have to update your systems and tell EA to stop sending people to your website. It is irresponsible to have left it this long.

As someone who identifies posters by avatar and rarely even looks at names, this is going to go poorly for me.

Well this will be my last post on this forum.  Cyonan's board ( http://bsn.boards.net/ ) seems like the best candidate as a successor and I've already registered there.  I know you guys linger for memory' sake but I think we should salvage everything we can and leave this place as soon as possible.  I don't know about you but after being dumped, past the initial shock, I do not give the ex the satisfaction of seeing me lament, even under the guise of humor ;)  And really, even should they backtrack, would you really trust them again?  Would you really take the risk of seeing them shiving us in the back, again, 6 months or a year down the road?

I have been faithful to BW since Baldur's Gate but now I'm done; they've lost a customer.  I'm not saying I won't be playing their games again in the future (especially DA4) but I most definitely won't  be paying for them.

I woke up this morning to peek in and find that Solas left his square. Now I am afraid that he spilled his tea and needed a sponge because SpongeBob has disappeared as well.

I do not like this new reality. I cannot handle this reality, it is like the end is coming or something. Oh, wait, it is, isn't it?

I'll be back later, I need some coffee...and more tissues I fear.

It really feel like the end of the BSN suddenly.All bets are off.

It would be fun if everybody put on the giraffe dog avatar, though.

I like silly costumes.

 

Using all the same avatar could be a good way for us to get used to Reddit :lol:

Is there anybody in BioWare responsible to inform EA what is going on now with BSN and entire "tech support" here ?

What is it ? A circus ?? I need help from someone WORKING in BioWare.

EA can't contact with them so sends me here, here on the other hand nobody from BioWare cares to come since they want to close forum.

What I am supposed to do ? Spam EA Help to let them know that BioWare is going rogue behind their backs with closure of this forum ? <_<

EA Help is directing me here for HELP, where BioWare is all "forget it we don't care anymore" :angry:

Is it a major issue that you're having a problem with? Like can you explain it in a few words? If so the I guess the appropriate way to go about it now would be to tweet them.

If it's a large issue then maybe try starting a thread? Conal has been on every day even if he has remained silent. He may see your thread and be able to help?

Am I giving silly advice? All I know is that my new shampoo smells like peppermint, to be honest.

You know when Varric tells the story and there's some pictures etc...

I don't think the thing ever worked properly.

Anyway I told him/her to look on reddit or PM a dev working on the Keep.

It is super cute that you think they have to do that.  If EA doesn't continue linking to a forum instead of actually assisting its customers long after that forum no longer exists, I, for one, am going to be extremely surprised.

Oh yeah, I gave up on that thing working ages ago. Just another one of those issues that was conveniently forgotten about, I guess? Or now that DA:I is done and dusted and people have been moved around to more active projects, they don't really have the time for it anymore maybe.

I already posted new topic on Keep's freaking support, but BioWare don't care. More than this every other fix of this issue does not working in my case. Some suggested changing browser. Yeah I've been there done it too. On 4 different browsers. Nothing changed. Tried every single thing to fix that damn thing and nothing. I am sick and tired of BioWare uselessness and that's why I will now on start to harass them on facebook. I don't care anymore what they think since they don't care about me.

It's been years now since Inquisition was out, so it's about damn time for them to fix the damn Keep for sake.

And this glitch even if look similar to previous issues with story mode there is nothing like I seen before. It's like actual corruption with something attached TO characters. Because I see no damn other explanation unless BioWare will tell me what's wrong.

It wasn't choice, wasn't browser, wasn't history, wasn't entire Keep, wasn't slot place or syncing. Nothing work.

BW beat you to it. Jesse Reid, the admin of this site, had that avatar for a while. Until I noticed it. Thought it was funny and said so. Just checked it and he changed it yesterday or so. ;)

 

While I do have a fondness for man-giraffe-dog I think my current avatar is the best yet. Plus it was giving Jeff nightmares. :)

How long ago did you start the new topic? What you could do is tweet the link of your topic to the Keep or Dragon Age account on Twitter. I think if you do that then perhaps someone will be more likely to see it.

Something along the lines of: "please help me with this issue" and then the link to your topic.

Either way, I hope you get the help for your problem that you're seeking and I understand your frustration over the entire thing. :)

Oh, a BioWare Employee. I thought all of you left BSN to dust until the day of closure. Forgive me but I am little on the edge now. Can you direct me to correct place to get real tech support to Keep. Which has actually people from studio who can solve issues ? Because surely Facbook doesn't have option of any contact other than comments. And Reddit was useless with this as well.

How long ago did you start the new topic? What could do is tweet the link of your topic to the Keep or Dragon Age account on Twitter. I think if you do that then perhaps someone would be more likely to see it.

I am rarely on YouTube so unless there is flame war regarding Rap or Fallout's usually I am offline there as well.

I understand. I along with many others use the BSN as our only form of social media so I totally get where you're coming from.

I guess the only other advice I can give you is to post the link at their Facebook page as I advised you to do on their Twitter. I have seen them reply to some people on Facebook in the last few days over the issue of the BSN closing so it's worth a shot to keep badgering them on their if that's what you want to do.

It really does seem though that their is a huge lack of effort on their part if your topic has been up for that long with no reply, so you have every right to be angry.

The least they could do until the 26th is at least try to seem like they actively give a ****.
