And I just got a non-automated PM from Mod02 explaining to me what I did wrong. I knew this unit had a soul. 

And I understand now, so thank you Mod02. I didn't realize I was not supposed to discuss when the mods do things like target 1-2 year old posts from private/invite only groups. I'll try not to discuss anything like that in the future. Keep up the good work you guys, I am sure decisions like those that I didn't know I wasn't supposed to discuss are for the best.

The BSN is being harvested by the rEApers since several years ago (we took a heavy hit when the old BSN went down), and now the catalyst finally proposes us 4 choices:

• Destroy: let the forums burn and never buy Bioware games (at least not pre-order or day one).
• Control: create (or join) a new fan forum to control a new community.
• Synthesis: join the social media sites to merge with Bioware.
• Refusal: go away and never look back.

I agree. This causticity is revealing the true self of people. And the true self is that they will always sexually abuse you with music tastes. This is the case with those of us who are not LGBT nor heteronormativity. We are the 3rd category, that does not live in an asexual way like the rest of the people, who only lie and don't reveal their true selves. I'm going to describe them as villains. Labels are not accurate, this is why these ribald people are coercion, but overall yeah, that's bad.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this absolutely isn't happening. You can try to please and placate BioWare as much as you want, you're getting thrown under the bus with the rest of us. They aren't going to let the loyalists ascend to a new non "toxic" forum no matter how much you wish for it.

Are you really arrogant or naive enough to think this won't be remembered when the 'new community' arrives on facebook and twitter?? What you and your iron fist overlords at EA have done to the old, loyal fans is disgraceful.  It's clear that £/$ means more to you.  Having said that, I still fail to see how this is going to help you?  You may gain 10% (for argument's sake) more sales by moving more to social media, but the amount of long term fans and community spirit that you're going to lose will outweigh this in the long run.

Some of these reactions and accusations are reminiscent of reactions to The Path. Some grinders could not grasp the gameplay even when explained in plain language. One poster on some forum made a scene that they had collected every flower in the demo area, gotten no reward and then asked "Now what? Am I playing right?". When they were told that collecting flowers wasn't the point and the flowers were only to be used as markers for where the character traveled they still couldn't accept the nature of the game. Others of like mind unthinking joined in the ballyhoo. Sometimes the meaning of something is right there in front of a person but their inability to own their monkey business gets in the way.

Actually, this is a really good question. I would assume it would get deleted along with everything else, but then again so few things seem to work on logic anymore.
