I haven't actually done anything about that. Procrastinating until the last minute and then running for the final lifeboat is closer to my personal style. Sort of the way Sir Lancelot (Cleese version) couldn't just walk down the stair and out the front door.

I suggest you read my other posts I have covered most of this already. The short answer if you dont want to review, I dont really have anything to add to general conversations around here. I am working on an IP that I can not talk about, I dont know a lot about Dragon Age Lore, and I am no longer on Mass Effect. The main time I could contribute was ME3 MP, which I did, but now thats pretty much all talked about (in terms of what I can contribute).
Also on Reddit I am tagged on both the MassEffect and DragonAge subreddits. How do you know it is me? The mods have vetted me, and now I help vet other BioWare employees on those subreddits.
ME3MP experience was a blast and I thank you and your team. ME3MP forum was great too even it had some ugly moments especially with nerfs and balance. Eric Fagnan and his weekly fine-tuning of balance. So many warm memories and now it will all be lost... You devs even included some fanservice jokes about MP into a singleplayer Citadel DLC.

i'm already considering asking Bioware to see if they will accept a feedback threads that they can use without the forums they are closing down and use my forums for that. i might be promoting uBSN for Bioware's feedback on various games they made.

See, the thing that I don't like is that you have two people that are in the minority (at the moment of the posting) stating their opinion and instead of getting, "okay, I don't think that, I think this and it's cool either way" response, they get people jumping on them, drilling their point home as to why they are wrong. They aren't wrong, because it's all subjective and people have different likes and dislikes and therefore have differing opinions. Snake even made a point of saying that he didn't dislike romances, he just thought that they could be done better, yet most of the people replying to him chose to ignore that.
If we go by the reason the romance subforum was closed as representative of that entire subforum, then I guess everyone in OT was posting shirtless bathroom selfies and "I'm leaving" threads.
To say nothing of what the forumwide closure says about us.

Maybe we can all just go back to being mostly unified in our opinion that the forum closure is ridiculous. It seems silly to keep trying to place blame on different parts of the fanbase. It's not like there's anything to gain.

But yes this more than ok by me. It was much more fun when we were railing against BioWare instead of each other.
The romance stuff likely has zero to do with the closure anyway. Otherwise Bioware wouldn't be recommending Tumblr, which is the romance and character subforums on steroids.
Fan reaction to DA2 and ME3's endings and fragile developer egos killed the BSN.
We know, we need some drama for fun.
Unity against BioWare only lasts for so long though. Contempt for one another springs eternal.
Hopefully the new BSN mods will manage that better than we did.

For a forum that was so filled to the brim with great stuff that helped people out I'm actually a bit annoyed that so many have decided to resorting to wasting time instead of keeping to the subject at hand and figuring things out for the future. Though to be fair I doubt it'll make a difference at this point.

Eh, they'll say "I told you so" no matter what and it's not like anything's going to change. The forums will still be closed and then deleted it's not like they'll change their mind if we're on our best behavior. I think a few viable alternative forums have already been presented for people who want to continue on. As for me, I'm going down with this sinking ship.

I planned to say my goodbyes and leave much sooner, especially since I got an upcoming cruise to plan for. But I can't help but to see it through til the end. I did sign up on Frextra to preserve my posts but idk if I'm ever gonna post there or any other BW related space for that matter. I think I might go down with you.
