Sorry if it sounded condescending; I didn't mean it so. It's more like... musing over things, haha. Sorry again!
No no no, not you, the other (the original) poster I was replying to ![]()

...ooh. I see it now, haha. Alright then ![]()
Hey, brother in crime... You're not going anywhere. Hurry up and register!
There's a very important task ahead of us. We need to document the geth history (which is poorly done right now), before people start confusing the geth with the khet.
We did have some good times, didn't we?
Thanks for that!
Edit: Oh! TheAngryOne! And Baronesa! Today I said farewell to The Uncanny. Those ladies kicked some serious ...
Sigh.
So many people made these forums great. I know this sounds cheesy but it is a nice feeling to be among some truly great people, these are hard to find in this unforgiving world we called the "internet"
Working on ME2!
And preparing to spam every post here with "find this thread here after closed" links.
Anyone wants to help me cover all the basics?
What kind of help do you need? ![]()

AngryFrozenWater reporting for duty. PM me what you need me to do.
Well, if this the last day. Goodbye to you all. It's been great, hopefully I'll see you in the other forums.
And Bioware, don't worry. We won't let you forget this, or ME3; after all, someone else might get it wrong.
P.S. Hopefully you'll go on to make great games, I get the feeling you'll need it if you want to regain several dozen costumers, at least.
So is there a new fan forum most of the posters have migrated to?
So is there a new fan forum most of the posters have migrated to?
There are several, but the major one seems to be Fextralife.
So is there a new fan forum most of the posters have migrated to?
Yeah, to http://fextralife.com/forums/f95/)apparently. A lovely person has been busy moving all the forum posts from here to there.
So is there a new fan forum most of the posters have migrated to?
Fextralife has done a wonderful job archiving the posts.
But don't ignore http://bsn.boards.net.
That group has attracted around 1,200 members and is currently generating around 1,500 new posts per day.
There are twice the number of members chatting on that forum right now, than on this one.
I think any serious follower of Mass Effect & Dragon Age needs to be a member of both.
Awesome thanks for the links, i will check them out.
It's pretty much the forum's final day and even now, even now here at the end of all things you simply cannot resist the urge to get in more passive-aggressive, holier-than-thou digs and put-downs (because let's face it, that's what these messages are, layered with manners and dripping big words as they are) directed at the forum's general population. And here I was hoping that posters on these forums had a bit higher intelligence, training, and civility. At least a few are above this bark & bite mentality....
That one and http://bsn.boards.net
Yes, no offense to other sites, but that one seems to have the most people. Any time I have tried the other replacement sites, there has been like nobody on--ever. BSN Boards has almost 1200 people and a good majority of traffic.

You might not intend them this way but this is how they come across. This is coming from someone who spent 95% of their time on this forum "behaving" themselves, leading a fuzzy subcommunity, answering questions, contributing to lore discussions, making friends.
if you can't control yourself then neither can I. I'm just a bad barking dog right?
spank me, Elhanan, you're toxic in your own unique way
Since we're on our way out the door, now's the time to get this out: Elhanan's the type of poster who thinks that as long as you don't swear, you can make any passive-aggressive comment/argument and pass it off as a mature. It's a kind of deception that confuses a lack of swearing with intelligence. For a typical example, see most of his insane responses in the Bioware foul language threads.
Not sure when the forum is going, today or tomorrow, but I figured I'd keep an eye out. Gotta see if the forum goes out with a bang or a whimper. Might need to run away from the explosions.

p.s. The 'Burbs, great film, one of my favourites.
Hey all, I do talk a lot of trash but despite it all, this community has been near and dear to me for a number of years.
I really wanted to find a way to bring part of the community together when BSN is closed down for good. To that end, us folks over on Top Shelf Gaming have teamed up with our friends at The New BioWare Social Network - Unofficial Forums to put together a 24-hour Twitch streaming marathon that would last for the entirety of the 26th of August. We'll have a variety of streamers playing a diverse bunch of games and hopefully we can have a chill atmosphere where people can discuss and reminisce about the good and bad times we've had on this forum.
This is the schedule we've all put together. Keep in mind that we are operating under the UTC -7 Timezone, so please convert to your local time first.
12:00am-3:00am - Crusty (KotOR II)
3:00am-6:00am - Rakia (Alpha Protocol)
6:00am-9:00am - Jack Package (Fallout 3)
9:00am-12:00pm - Rakia, Jack Package (Warframe)
12:00pm-3:00pm - Jorji Costava (Mass Effect 1)
3:00pm-4:30pm - DragonRacer (Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer)
4:30pm-6:00pm - Johnnie Walker, Menycet, E-Ro & Ruggly (Torchlight 2) OR Crusty (Dragon's Dogma) - depends on availability
6:00pm-8:00pm - O Ventus, Ruggly & Cyonan (Overwatch)
8:00pm-10:00pm - O Ventus, Jack Package, Jock Cranley, Rakia Time & Draining Dragon (Heroes of the Storm)
10:00pm-12:00am - O Ventus, CrutchCricket, Heldarion & Salarian Master Race (Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer)
We will all be streaming from the Top Shelf Gaming Community Twitch Channel so you can just pop in at any time, and not have to worry about moving to another channel for a specific stream.
If you're unsure about when the event will start, click this countdown timer and it will let you know when the event will start.
I don't really expect a whole bunch of people, considering that BSN's traffic has already taken massive hits. But I did want the idea of a community oriented farewell party, which this could possibly be.
Thanks and have a nice day.
Well, I have no intentions of saying goodbye to anything, not the community, not Bioware, so I won't use that "goodbye" thread. But this is my last post here.
One often moves on in life. It's the natural state. Sometimes it feels like one isn't ready to move on, but there's no point in dwelling on that.
Once upon a time a game named Morrowind called me away from these forums. I would have liked to play more DA:I because I really like that game. But it wasn't to be (not yet anyway). The last one and half years most of my attention has again been elsewhere.

And that's also the reason I haven't been much on the forums lately. It's not a game I'd recommend to a strict RPG gamer. But it is IMO one of the 3-5 most important games ever. It's real. The engineering is real. The adventure is real. The exploration is real. The triumph is real. There are no levels, weapons or Bosses in KSP. It doesn't try to conform to the old Space Invaders formula which some so stubbornly insist every videogame should be modeled after. It's a true software toy that has the power to make people genuinely understand how physics and celestial mechanics work out. To the credit of EA, one remarkable game have been born also on their watch. 'Mirror's Edge'. Thank you for that. I don't know why it didn't sell better. Are gamers stupid or what? But these are hints of what I crave for. Just like Baldur's Gate and Morrowind. Games which are in themselves an adventure, themselves something to explore. But I suppose I'm not really a true RPG-gamer. BG drew me in. The roleplaying element did and made me a roleplayer. And Bioware's forums. Otherwise, I'm probably from the CoD-crowd, you know.
I have registered on all three replacement forums, same name, same avatar, but I won't have time to spend there anytime soon.
Over and out.
Ah, the good old "buying reviews" position ...
Gee, why are you closing the forums again, BioWare?
Why did they put Jessica Chobot into the game?
Because she's so awesome that she deserved more resources and development time, than many more beloved NPCs? ![]()
They did that while Tali and the end scene was a doctored google stock photo.
