And I got my first warning due earlier vid post. Thought it would hit nerve. That completes all. With that, I'm out. Take care all.
Well, I'll soon make my registration in the alternative forums. I'l probably change my username and avatar, since this is the beginning of a new cycle. But I'll let people know it's me over there.
I'll keep my profile as it is now, with only the farewell message to all the BSNers. If you guys have any last minute changes you'd like to make to your profiles, such as add external links, change banners in your sig, change avatars and other stuff, the time is now.
As for anyone who's still indecisive as to whether to migrate to the new forums or not, I've visited Fextralife, BSN Boards and Real Dragon Age Fans and can tell they look every bit like the BSN does. It's the same crowd, the same threads, the same familiar environment you've grown used to, only with a fresh new appearance. So I strongly recommend you register a new profile.
This is the icing on the rotten cake. Because of this I'll never buy another game from you again, I don't care if you release "HEY THIS IS JUST LIKE DRAGON AGE ORIGINS GUYSS!!!" and make a video saying how perfect it is for PC and DAO fans will love it...oh, wait, you did that. Anyway, I won't buy anything from you again.
Everyone here, support Indie games.
Updating everyone here:
I have fully imported Mass Effect Andromeda, Mass Effec 1, Dragon Age Inquisition, Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Keep forums to here:
http://fextralife.co...5/bioware-games
You can continue to post in any topics outside of the archived subforums. All locked topics are re-opened.
Still working:
Mass Effect 2 is 70% done,
Mass Effect 3 50% done.
I will also Import
Dragon Age 2, all of the legacy games and, if I can make it in time, off-topic.
When the forum closes, you can still claim your account by PMing me - if not via here via answers.ea.com (find Fexelea, log in with bioware credentials)
Please help me leave breadcrumbs to the opened threads in the soon-to-be-locked threads here, so people may find their way!
I posted my proper goodbye in the appropriate thread, but there's still a few things I want to say here, and I honestly don't know what the reaction from moderation will be.
You see, I just said the word "moderation," which has become increasingly verboten over the past few weeks. Natashina, one of the most reasonable and earnest posters ever to grace these forums was given a warning point a while ago, after urging her fellow posters to stay on topic, for "discussing moderation." Punitive measures on this site have been both erratic and draconian during the past several weeks, to an absurd degree. If Bioware's goal was to add insult to injury, mission very definitely accomplished.
Bioware, if by some extremely unlikely phenomenon this is observed by anyone involved in this decision, you've alienated some of your most dedicated fans. Not just with the decision itself, but by everything that followed. I hope you have something good up your sleeves like a new forum on the way, because that at least will mean you're probably enduring as a company (and I wouldn't wish anyone making an honest living any job related hardship), but even if you do, I truly doubt many of your previously passionate fans will care to go along for the ride.
... Everyone here, support Indie games.
Agreed. Go support credible developers who make what they say, and play 'No Man's Sky', oh hang on... ![]()
(Actually I think I'd rather play Mass Effect
)
One last thing, to my fellow BSNers,
On the first effort to make a complete BSN replacement forum (which was really just an effort on one poster's part to attract attention to themselves in disguise), a well intentioned Bioware employee joined and attempted to participated.
One of the people who had been named a mod of that site actually rebuffed that employee's efforts and basically advised them not to bother trying.
To those who share a similar sense of frustration toward Bioware: please, think carefully before you do something similar. We can do better than to attempt to justify the accusations of hostility being levied against us, and spurning Bioware interaction gains us nothing.
After a few weeks, I'm no longer as devastated about this decision. Especially since there's nothing we can do about it except move on, which is what those excellent fans creating the new forums are doing. It kind of feels like being in a relationship with someone, and you have all these amazing memories, and then find out that other person wasn't into it at all and was seriously thinking about breaking it off years ago already.
I thought about doing one final weekend with ME3 MP and bonding with everyone one last time, but it's not like Bioware is going out of business. The fans are also still here. We've always been here and we will always remain. So I look forward to chatting you guys up again if I buy another Bioware game in a permanent home that won't disappear for arbitrary reasons.

Every now and then I search things about Bioware games on google and it leads me to this forum. Now this will be gone.
This is the tricky part. How do we increase visibility for our new, post-BioWare Forums communities?
Veeia, Chernaya, Bunny...I hoped they would become active again when there was a new game to talk about, but I'll probably never get to chat with them again.
If we can leave signs for people to find the new forums, and know that they can claim their accounts via pm we can confirm the identity of people and associate their accounts, allowing you to get in touch again ![]()
