So there are two forums people are going to?

 

Apparently, most users are coming together at 2 places, yes. But other groups may alternate between the 2 main fan forums and other more discreet forums, such as the Real Dragon Age Fans. There's also the Off-Topic section of the Vroom Vroom forum, which was created after the closure of the BSN Off-Topic, where some users can be found. 

 

So the core of the community will be in 2 places - BSN Boards and Fextralife -, but they won't be exclusively there. Some people might be more assiduous in the smaller forums.

I'm mostly at BSN forum, it seems to have more activity.

Agreed. A merger would've been ideal, in the early stages, but I understand that issues outside my knowledge were likely at play.

Still, the new BSN has a very good foundation laid, and the other sites that have already been in place aren't going anywhere. Fextralife.com has other communities outside of BioWare, for instance.

Splitting my attention between two sites might prove difficult, but both the new BSN and fextralife.com were too good of initiatives to pass up. I signed on at both, and have been active at BSN since Aug 2.

I'm sorry I don't know if there is an official answer but I think that those are still going to be available. You want to know why? There is zero recourse for feedback on both of those sites.
