What I'm doing to pass the time I'm watching an Anime DVD

Ugh. I'm sorry you only got to experience this place in that state. The Andromeda forum has been virtually useless for the several months. Maybe that's part of what they chose to nuke this place, but a little real Andromeda hype and pest-control would've cleaned it up.

You'll hopefully get a small taste of what it used to be like on the new BSN. It won't truly compare, because we won't be close to as big. The energy should be pretty cool, though. All we need is some real game info to light the fire.

 

Yeah, I was really looking forward to spending time here when the game dropped, so I'll stay in touch on the new boards. Andromeda here had some amusing moments, though.

I notice my posts are deteriorating, in terms of spelling and grammar. I've basically been on here since 10am EST. It's now 3:22am EST. O_o

I know it is a bit off topic but what the hell is gonna shut down anyway what's the longest time that any views have stayed up to play a video game any video game and to me Bioware and to all the forum users that are still on I apologise for doing this

I've stayed up late enough to see the sunrise gaming. It used to faze me. Now it doesn't.

 

Late in my college career, back when I first got Grand Theft Auto V I basically became nocturnal because the Playstation 3 was connected to a TV that my parents monopolize while they're awake. (It's a good thing that was during Winter Break.)

Some of my Vorcha servants came back.

They couldn't figure out how to operate the ship and ended up crashing it. Most of them were in the ship when it crashed.

Guess I need a new ship.... and more servants

Yeah, I was really looking forward to spending time here when the game dropped, so I'll stay in touch on the new boards. Andromeda here had some amusing moments, though. 

 

I found time period of waiting release of DAI most happy. Who is companion? Who is LI? What does this reveal mean? It was fun to plan out your characters, come up with nicknames to companions whose names you didn't know (Scribbles, Ser Bara, Dramatic Hands Moustache Guy etc.). Hopefully new forums will have similar kind of excitement.

Longest session was 46 hours, Mass Effect 2 release. Got to the Collector Base in one go on Insanity.

 

Those were the university years, so don't have time for that anymore.

I remember staying up three days straight or was it 24 hours just playing one game I think it was quake on the Xbox 360 and I think I finished Star Wars Republic commando in just one day

I've been trying to go into ME:A as blind as possible, myself. No trailers, info drops, etc. for me.

After being disappointed with DA:I after all the hype, I'm trying to play it safe

It's been a long ride over the years and with all it's flaws this was a great forums to be part of. Forums will be missed, thankfully many of it will be recovered on fan-forum. It's still however tragic forums are getting taken down, especially for such stated reasons.

 

To Bioware, including former employees who support the closure, all I can say you can be ashamed of yourself. I do hope you enjoy your echo chamber, but you had forever lost respect to many of your fans and former fans.

And this is also the one thing I love about Forum like this is the ability to share memories of the biggest moment in Anyone's game in history to share that moment that you love from that game

I'm a pretty strong night-owl by this point. I could operate the day on a few hours of sleep -- of course, I'd rather not. I think the longest I've ever been awake is a little over 24 hours. Can't hold out longer than that.

 

I remember the first times I played ME/DA I stayed up until sunrise more than once... Stay up long enough, though, and then I reach autopilot for a good stretch, until I crash.

So, I know I said goodbye, but I just realized that I'm two posts away from 4,000 and that's kind of been bothering me (that's some back story as to why I came back). I want to give a shout out to a certain glorious Vorcha that is a master fisherman. I hope the Vorcha Fisherman shows up to snag the last post XD

I've never done an all night gaming session, but I have stayed up all night to watch a forum before (SWTOR Forums, actually). It was a really interesting affair because someone made a controversial post and there was a lot of fallout to it. Anyway, this is kind of similar to that, haha. Anyway, later all! May glory go to whoever snags the final post.

I'm bit opposite. I'm bit of information sponge and I don't mind playing the game even if I'm spoiled by the end. Though I wouldn't want everything spoiled, some plottwist are nice, but otherwise give it to me
