I think we're approaching the timing all wrong, as well. My employees never got straight to work. They took a few minutes to walk back to their work areas, put their stuff down, wake up a bit, chat more than necessary, etc...
If the executioner arrives promptly at 7am, he might not drop the axe until at least 7:08am.
It was always even later than that for me. Honestly, serious work rarely gets done before at least an hour of drinking coffee, talking to people, and checking the news online. I'm always impressed when I see people who get there early and can instantly get moving.
I actually don't think it's going to happen until 11:59pm......
I like how some people are still talking about BioWare games like our impending doom isn't right around the corner.
