I could've sworn it was a company devoted towards intersectional feminism, BLM and bashing Donald Trump.
We all wish this was true.

I don't think they're planning to change the way they interact anywhere else at all.
Official support is still through that EA support forum.
People they don't like on Twitter or FB or whatever they can simply block without coming across as authoritarian because the moderation there is not their responsibility.
My point was rather to say that the community has a lot of responsability about dev not wanting to post on the forums anymore
- but shutting down the forums altogether is entirely on EA's shoulders.
I think it's not even only about money, but more about both a lack of care for consumers (and consumers feedback) by EA, and maybe some wariness about potential backlash for their products later, which doesn't bode well for ME:A.
We have a winner but let's change "a lot" with "the sole"
The same customer who trashed, insulted, threatended of death multiple times the poeple who works for this company?
When did I do that?
Him, some mistake here : the "unacceptable, childish and needlessly antagonistic" responses I was talking about were in this thread. As for the abuse taken by Gaider, I was refering to the time when he still was in Bioware and answered on the forum.
And it's obvious that the alternative proposed to the forums are ridiculous, they absolutely don't and can't replace forums, they are just excuses provided because you have to answer something.

I'm also assuming that they give a crap about not being flooded with negative comments over Twitter.
Aye, we hoped Off Topic would be back once Bioware realized how much worse the place got as a result of it being closed and instead this is what we get.
Utter nonsense.
You'd figure they would learn after the forums got worse because of it. Amusingly the reasons for shutting off topic entirely contradict the reasons for shutting the forums.
Finally, we have removed the Off-Topic boards. We want to keep the conversations on our boards focused on BioWare and our games. Since other communities do exist for such off-topic discussions, we feel it's important to foster conversations within our community that can't be found outside these boards.
Exactly. Them closing the forums has nothing to do with a lack of visits cause you can bet your ass that if it's still up with MEA's release guys like BroJo would be active amongst others. Mike Gamble was relatively active too. This just tells me they STILL haven't learned from ME3's debacle and I'm not referring to the endings either. I challenge anyone to look up "Zipper Interactive Socom" and compare the similarities. Hell, if you're a wrestling fan look at what WWE has been doing the last decade with how they spite their fans, take them for granted, then turn around and say they listen while still pushing the same things people have been ****ing on and now their audience is a fraction of what it once was.

don't care take your grievance with all the people who supported the scum that plagued this place since DA2.

Aye, its entirely hypocritical and backwards.

Wouldn't be surprised if Vince McMahon was secretly running Bioware.
If they actually want it gone, they may request it be removed.
His last post was about how he's happy the forums are closing. Guy's just a troll and should be ignored.
Of course i'm happy why i shouldn't?
Just for the record I know you were joking, it's why I liked your post. I definitely did not report you.
I know. And I'm still joking. All you can do in times like these.
Wouldn't be surprised if Vince McMahon was secretly running Bioware.
Well they've got the stubborn and out of touch parts down, who's the CEO/Lead now anyways? Mac?
Wouldn't be surprised if Vince McMahon was secretly running Bioware.

No you're not. Probably having a meltdown as we speak.

If you didn't like this place, why even come here?

He's probably a masochist like the rest of us, but is too tsundere to admit it.

Close, but no cigar. Unless ME:A is revealed to have a set protagonist who is always a 6'4, muscular super sexy handsome badass man who is the best and the funniest and nobody can beat and whenever the protagonist isn't in a scene, everybody is asking "where's protagonist?"
