Wow. :(

Considering I've been with BioWare since back in the BG days, moderating with Interplay before Bio had boards then moving over to Bio on their forum launch, this is going to be a big shock to my system. I'm here every day, and even though I don't interact as much as I once did, not having these boards to visit is going to take some getting used to.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but it's sad. I've seen so many come and go from Bio staff (and moderators) over the years. At least I'll be able to say I was here from the beginning to the end.

I see it less as a "bound to happen" and more of a "let it happen" and "didn't need to happen" but hey, anything we post now is just noise that'll disappear in a month.

At this current time, there's only one moderator online (although I guess the rest could be hiding their online status) shows how well they wanted to moderate this place.

BSN and VSN at first were kind of like Abradolf Lincler from Rick and Morty.

But the anti-SJWs broke off from VSN and made their own forum so VSN became full on SJW.

So now VSN is Lincoln.

While the other place is Hitler.

I disagree with both of these metaphors.

There's some crazy in both places, and there's some fun as well.

Why are you here?

For the sake of broken-glued male elvhen arms. I'm checking from time to time if there are any news about fixes/mods that would fix that botched piece of sin.

Most of our people I would not consider part of the "clique" that vroom chose to moderate his forum and they seem to think we are even-handed enough.

It sounds like the few Hitlers we banned may have been too extreme even for the free speech warriors of TSG.

You can't buy ME2 DLC's on Origin.

And you can buy ME2 DLC's only with Bioware points anyway. A thing that should be abolished, as it denies any ME2 and ME3 DLC's to ever be put up on sale on PC.

If I check View Game Details, it pops up all the DLC, I only don't own Genesis, and it wants me to drop 10 euros for 800 BioWare points in order to get it.

And I, too, was speaking of his time working at BW and when he posted on BSN when I said he stirs the pot and condescends to everyone. Yeah, he got a lot of disrespect on BSN. There's a reason: he gave a lot of disrespect. He reaped what he sowed.

I wouldn't deny he was pretty snarky, but I'd say it's more to do with the different standards with which "official" speakers are hold compared to regular posters. He only got so much flak because he wasn't a regular poster - and that's the point : if, as a dev and not a community manager, I had to take glove and beware of every word I type and be hold to much higher standards by people than they would hold themselves, and do this on my free time, well I certainly wouldn't bother to post either.

His last post was about how he's happy the forums are closing. Guy's just a troll and should be ignored.

Actually he said he was sad but that closing the forums was long overdue.

You see, that's exactly the kind of things which makes talking to a community a daunting task.

Actually, moderator status seems to have been stripped from most everyone. I just discovered that my moderator powers were gone without warning/message. It doesn't strike me as particularly respectful of the years I've spent volunteering with Bio, but it's a different sort of company now.

I think if you buy it in Roubles or Reals it gets cheaper

Ah you used to be one of the community moderators that I saw listed but never seemed to be around? I'm new to these boards (2014) and visited BSN only to do my part in complaining about ME3.

I was talking about the Anonymous BioMods

Nevermind Reezy dying and not getting a proper send off, you have to do something about all that moe in the anime thread. There's no one to talk with about our lord and savior, Sir Escanor.

Yeah, this weird sock-puppet tongue bathing of Cassandra is really turning me off on her forum. Not sure I want to be under the boot of someone that transparently hypes herself with another account. Seems unstable. Too bad as the forum looks nice.

http://cassandrasatu...-cassandra.html If you scroll a little you'll find mention of this prodigy becoming an Air Force Pilot for the United States at the age of 14, as well as him being a founding member of the Earth Defense Force :)

I was lucky to get some BW points at a retail store for -50% off ages ago, this whole BW point is ridiculous when you can get the trillogy pack for just as much.

The anime thread has always been out of our power.

EA/Bioware had to nuke off-topic just to get rid of it.

Soon all we're gonna be left with are the biomods from that other company that did little to nothing to make this place better.

Vega fails drug test. Forced to apologize to rest of the cast and gets suspended.
Hawke fails drug test. No punishment. Why are you so whiny? If you'd READ the policy, then you'd know he's exempt from the rules. Quit your QQ.

Well, as soon as the suspension, there was talk of a redemption storyline for Roman. Brock on the other hand only got caught with an estrogen suppressor (which likely means he was boosting testosterone earlier this year and is cycling) because USADA actually has a strict and legit policy. If it were WWE's testing, he'd have been exempt with a doctor's note as long as his testosterone levels were below a 10:1 ratio; to put that into perspective, NFL's exemption stops at a 4:1 ratio, and they don't just do pee tests. WWE is laughably bad and open and as long as a guy has notes and a good cycling/cleaning solution like saline or olive oil, they can get away.
