It wasn't, she just wanted to make a forum for her gaming channel. I think she went ahead and launched Topshelf when she did because a couple of people got banned and she wanted them to have a place to go to. She is extremely nice and really passionate about gaming, there is no bad blood or ill feelings between her and I at all. As a matter of fact, we spent like 2 hours the other day talking back and forth on Steam XD

I tried VSN and someone from there even PM'd me, which I truly appreciated, however with that site, like others, real life topics are also found, and, right now, real life is no good. I will check out the second and, who knows, maybe something similar will happen for Mass Effect, alas, not right now.

It does serve a purpose. You think the complaining people do will magically disappear because this forum does? They mess something up on game be it real or just imaginary problems only they see forums, facebook or any place else will still have people complaining.

 

I don't think myself anything,. I actually don't care. It's their decision, I don't care what happens to them, what happens to this forum. I'll just buy their game if they interest me inthe future. Bioware, as a compagny doesn't mean anything anymore to me. I'm just a neutral customer. Now, i don't know if other people responded to me, I have just no time to debate. i must go.

VSN was originally created to house the exiles who frequented the Off topic section here when it was closed a year ago. A number of users split off from VSN to form TSG following some disagreements over users having been banned. I don't frequent TSG but both places seem to be better off now for it, and many posters use both.

 

And FYI, the name of the VSN isn't just some giant Vroom ego trip. It was supposed to just be temporary until we came up with something else but it kinda stuck and most people there wanted the name to stay.

VSN was created as basically a temporary ark for offtopic regulars though it's become more permanent. TSG was created because VSN's moderation was considered too strict by some after members were banned for rule breakages. It's a tad more complicated than that but you wanted the short version.

VSN tighter moderation

TSG less moderation
