Can we call it 'huttburt' instead? At least it sounds more fun than the other one.
"Hurt" sounds good enough for me.

Having been here since around DA2's release, I can say that both of them have always been like that. They weren't embittered by the trolls, their attitudes are probably what made a lot of people troll.
Furthermore, people representing a business are expected to conduct themselves with some degree of maturity. Minimum wage employees at Wal-Mart and McDonald's are held to professionalism standards and they have to put up with all sorts of abuse. They definitely aren't allowed to take out their frustrations on the customer base as a whole. These excuses that they shouldn't be held to the same standards are minimum wage grunts is an asinine excuse.
She was the one who claimed Jaheira was a "sexist" stereotype of a "nagging wife," correct? Someone with that attitude has no business working on a Baldur's Gate expansion.
Yeah, that's her. She also went out of her way to criticize Safana and people who liked her, calling her a "sex object", before turning around and saying "I get to make decisions about who I write about and why. I don't like writing about straight/white/cis people all the time. It's not reflective of the real world, it sets up s/w/c as the 'normal' baseline from which 'other' characters must be added, and it's boring."
And then she wants to pretend she's a victim on Twitter when people say mean comments to her, after she okays censoring their Steam forums and actively antagonizes the people who play her games. She's delusional and a hypocrite.
Beamdog lol. What a joke.
Legitimately, more than probably any company I can think of, I don't think Beamdog deserves the money people give them. Not only are the games they make just not good, but they're a bunch of a***oles to their customers. I hope they go out of business, and soon.

One tweet rustles your jimmies? And then you go on about thicker skin? Come on guys. Take a punch if you throw one.
Spoiler
What constructive feedback; so much better than Bye Felicia...
Oh, I did give them constructive feedback.
Then they banned me and told me I wasn't welcome. I'm not kidding when I say they might be the worst developer I've ever played games from.
Right now, CD Projekt RED is everything the BioWare of old was.
That's quite an understatement... some people like the teacher-student analogy but in this case it feels to me like the student figuratively blew the teacher's head off with a shotgun.
The quality that The Witcher 3 oozes in pretty much every regard is an order of magnitude above anything Bioware has ever done.

...I saw that tweet from Gaider. Then I saw Priestly respond with a "Bye Felicia" and a winky face. Gaider liked the comment. I had to look up the term "Bye Felicia"......and I see now what they actually think about us. All these years, all this time. Yeah" #iPlayBioware " what a laugh they must have gotten from that. People sending them stuff; thank you's and art, and all that.....
I didn't knew that term earlier, so I also looked it up for curiosity sake. I don't know what to say really. If according to them BSN is toxic, how am I suppossed to call the way they're acting?
Yeah, I guess this thread went through the stage of grieving, now on with rage...
It took longer than I expected.
I see people praising CD Project Red and I have only heard praise about the witcher series -criticisms too, but said criticism where about laughably irrelevant-to-a-game's-quality topics, so I never bothered with them- so I really want to try it.
But
Fantasy rpg. Without being able to play a spellcaster.
I can't. I try, but I can't.

Tale of Tales might be up there. After their game Sunset predictably bombed they screamed "F gamers! F the games industry!" and then wished for gamers everywhere to die in agony. I'm not making that up either.

I don't know about "ever done", if only becuase Bioware has made many more games than CDPR. Don't get me wrong, I adore TW3 (aside from Gwent, Gwent is irredeemably boring to me and the game does an awful job of explaining how to actually play), but I think I like the DA game just a tiny bit more. Like, 9.25 compared to a solid 9.

There's always sign-heavy builds.

I'd nominate Gearbox for the discussion, but I'm not sure anyone is giving them money anymore. Moot point I guess.
Gearbox has at least made good games before they went downhill.. Beamdog doesn't even have that credit. And at least SOME of their devs don't seem to actively hate the people who play their games. Randy Pitchford, as much as he's turning into Peter Molyneux with his PR and marketing lies, at least seems to like gamers.
If only the Witcher series allowed for a female PC...I know it's based on a series of books written by Andrzej Sapkowski where the protagonist is a man, but I don't know. It's a video game. Its universe can be expanded beyond the books.

Griffin school represent!

Signs are not enough, you know what I mean. I need fireballs! Lightning bolts! Hailstorms!

Many blue mutagens. So many blue mutagens.
Where am I gonna write all that, on Twitter?
Besides "respectful" is a relative term. Relative to how I'm really feeling. For example, right now I'm feeling pretty disrespectful. There are alot of things I want to say. So, the mighty effort I'm employing to communicate respectfully may still have a little Bite to it. But compared to what I really want to say, it's pretty darn respectful...trust.
Your voice is louder when it is respectful. Call them out by all means, but do so with critique, not insult. I'm not a happy camper either. I wouldn't be in here if I were. What do you think happened with ME3's ending? There was a strong enough response to cause change. I doubt they listed to those who didn't give them anything to go on. They listen to those who (while can still fully be unhappy with the situation) give them constructive criticism.
Twitter, email, whatever you have at your disposal. It's better than not saying anything.
