I went on there anyway it seems fairly tame, but it is also still a burgeoning forum.

 

Time will tell I guess if shenanigans happen. Everything is in flux now anyway.

Considering how much money has been invested in BioWare since 2008, and how the BioWare dev team has been working with other studios in EA to make games lately...I doubt it.

 

What I am expecting is BioWare to slowly branch off into other genres besides role-playing games. Nothing wrong with that, but it will probably shake some of the more hardcore fans in the short term there. Doesn't mean they will stop doing RPGs though at least.

Lol. If their new IP tanks, DA ends, and they run out of ME/DA spin-offs and extentions.. I won't be surprised if they are desolved or absorbed in some kind of fashion with Bioware employees flocking to other gaming businesses (which has happened already in the past).

Well, just about any dev with no viable IPs would be doomed. (CDPR excepted, since they're attached to a cash cow.) I'm not sure this proves much.

Cassandra makes drama with her constant, transparent, self aggrandizing lies and other weird behavior like the sockpuppets and spamming IMVU porn and asking for donations for 'relatives.' It's not just people digging into her blogs to find this stuff.

Though I would be lying if I said some of the criticism of her hasn't veered toward simple transphobia, I don't see any of that here yet.

Felicia tweeted about getting a free dessert from a manager at a restaurant she was eating at. Chris tweeted back that she might have gotten more than a dessert if she had not been wearing a shirt. 

 

His tweet got slammed as being sexist - which he admitted to and apologized for - soon after he was no longer employed by BW and went on to CDPR where he made the infamous Gamergate/KKK comparison.

Also, it looks like r/dragonage put up a welcoming post for BSN refugees. It's much tamer than the earlier posts but I dunno. /shrug

I have not checked out any of these new sites yet. One thing I liked about bsn was that you could check out both ME and DA; as well as new #secretIP. Go from MP to lore to character threads. Older BW games, newer ones. I liked Bundled Bioware.
