Looks like this is the end. It's been an honor. Maybe we'll all meet up in Andromeda someday. I'm still very angry. How could they do this? I couldn't do care less about them looking at the forums I just like a place to chat about ideas. Looks like I joined the party too late. We need to make our own forums but I don't have a clue.

Came here, had a blast for most of my years here. Wanted to make it to ten years. Apparently not happening now.

Well, they had issues, but since I have no desire to use the cesspits that are tumblr, twitter or facebook for talking about games I guess this is it, time to go back to drinking alone instead.

We're a laid-back bunch and try not to police discussion if we can help it. There are some basic rules to follow, but as long as you're able to handle dissenting opinions and follow those rules, you'll fit in just fine. Currently we have 104 members, many of whom were regulars in the Off-Topic Lobby and some of whom are still regular posters here.

Still kind of annoying, why not just leave the forums up? They're not hurting anyone, I see a lot more good than bad nowadays. The community interacts and shares things with eachother, we don't need any dev interaction, we haven't had any for years now.

Thing is I, and no doubt many others, would've happily done some moderating. They could've handed over some of the responsibility to fans. Just look at the reddit, run by fans and way more civilised.

They're releasing maybe their biggest game ever, and chose now to close the forums. It's almost as if they wanted to shut us up...

This was the only good DA&ME forum I know of... I don't like social media and reddit is just not the same...

Because this forum used to be 10000000000 times better. Seriously. Years ago.

Then Bioware put out games people didn't like, Bioware did other things people didn't like, the love and trust between them and fans was tested and broken. And then Bioware ran away from the forum, leaving trolls to pollute it instead of maintaining it positively.

 

They'd rather be literally anywhere but here.
