Shame, this is one of the worst business decisions I've seen, without BSN I don't think the BioWare today has much left to compete with other RPG devs. Since years ago I buy Bioware games so I can b**ch about them on the forums, now no reason for that any more.  Well done Biovar.

Seriously, I'll miss you guys and chicks here. I would donate if someone is going to make an archive of the forum.

 

There are archiving programs you can use to store sites/forums on your hard drive. Not sure which is the best one. Any suggestions?

My views on DR's ban, since my threads about it are getting deleted:

 

I haven't really posted here for a couple of years now, but I was active from Neverwinter Nights release up until then. Some of you may remember me, many probably don't. At any rate, I just needed to come back and comment about how disgusted I am with the fact that my good friend, DragonRacer was permanently banned from here for dropping an F bomb.

Dragon is the author of the Resource Libraries that are stickied at the tops of the ME3 MP and DAI MP forums. She's been a SERIOUS advocate for BioWare, beloved my many users here, and has a long list of friends at BioWare that she has played many a game with.

Her banning here over what was formerly considered a minor offense is, in a word, horrible. She was shedding tears for losing this place, and then she was permanently banned for one upset post.

BSN/The BioWare Forums are already dead, if this is considered acceptable here. I have purchased nearly all of BioWare's games, myself, but that likely just changed.

She quoted a post with a bad word, and they over reacted.

Wow, I expect a certain level of bullsh*t from the mods, but that really takes the cake.  I basically laze around, sh*tpost, pick on ME:A posters and whine about terrible pugs - if anything, I likely deserve more warning points and temp bans than I already have.  DR was nothing but helpful and friendly, and put a huge amount of time into collecting resources for forum members - she's the last person you should be banning, let alone banning before myself.

I didn't think my opinion of the mods could drop any lower, but, well, here we are.

Well, that was scary. I will not be publicly discussing details about what happened to me because I know that is against forum rules and I'm about to go re-read those very carefully so that I can continue posting for the next month, but to quote our dear Vocha brethren: I'M ALIIIIIVVVEEEE!!!

Also, please do not be angry at BioWare. What happened to me was not their direct doing and my ability to come is due to them still being cool people.

 

I've been on vacation so I've only just heard about this and had a mini-freakout.    Especially given all your hard work here and support. But thankfully it seems to already be resolved.
