Since BioWare is shutting down all their forums no more good mp chatter, or help for new people, or resource stickies, or game playing groups.  Frigging boneheads.

Oh gawd, we're going back to the hearsay and general face palm moments of newish players explaining the game to brand new players?  Wait, some of that stuff was funny as hell.

I apologize but is this in reference to something new as in they are shutting this multiplayer forum down? Or just the same old complete halt in maintenance and development? I haven't been able to check the forums much lately

All Bioware forums are being shutdown in less than a month apparently, with read access until mid-October. :(

I guess the forum was just costing them money to host and wasn't considered good value for money as a source of feedback. I wonder if they'll use the cash they save to buy another potato for the hamster wheel that is the EA servers.

Is there a deadline for cashing in my likes? Can I use them to get something in Pokemon Go that isn't a f*cking rattata?

Oh well, nice knowing you all, people from other regions and other gaming platforms.   This is the end of BSN?   Anyone knows which one of the 3rd party forum for DAI is the most active?

For any one who cares, I host a Dragon Age Social Site (and MP section) that also has a Mass Effect Section and a huge Off-topic section. Please feel free to come by. It will remain open as long as we have members. At my own personal cost BTW.

Oh come on how much does a web forum cost a company to run?   And feedback?  They never listened to most feedback anyways.  BSN  BioWare Social Network this is supposed to be for the fans no for bioware.

As for the other soruces, I'll probably never see aniother tweet from anyone to do with BioWare, I followed the tweets via the twitter threads.

Yeah, I'm not approving of this decision either. I'm not a fan of Reddit or any of those sites, so the loss of the Resource Guides is going to suck, especially for new players to the different MP's.

BSN been around for a very long time and now this.

No other site captures the community as good as BSN does.

Nothing to read now with my morning coffee

Too much, clearly...  <_<

It sucks. Really not a fan of the mainstream alternatives. What's next? The friends list? Is everything the devs don't really use much fair game?

But: all around, thanks for the fun times, people. Just glad I managed to fill my friends list some.

Not much!  I am certain that there are other reasons for them to shut down the forums.  The most costly expanse is probably the moderators.  Maybe they just don't want to pay for them and they are not willing to ask for volunteers from forum users.

BioWare forums were at their very best when they had volunteer mods back in the day, I was one of them.

Damn! Lurked here for so long and learnt so much... and always figured I'd be back for another game. Stupid move by EA. But a big thanks to everyone who contributed to all the hints and tips... and probably carried me through quite a few (early ;)) games.

Are forums so costly they can't even write them off as advertising for newer games????
